Title: Help identifying random accessories please!
Post by: BubbleTea on May 26, 2019, 02:56:51 PM
So I visited a yard sale yesterday and I found a little clear plastic full of accessories. I went ahead and bought it for the two G1 combs it had inside. Now I'm left with all the other stuff inside and I have no idea what any of it is as I'm not much of a doll collector.

random stuff(orange stick thingy marked mattel)

lil clothing hangers (blue one marked totsy)

I have NO IDEA what the red thing is supposed to be

Tiny stuff! I think I'll keep most of these as most of them fit ponies. I like how none of the shoes have a match lol.

nondescript yellow stick thingies! I think they may be part of the show stable's jumps but I may be wrong. They're about as tall as a G3 pony when standing vertically.

Thanks!

The “Gobblin Groomer” comb appears to be an old McDonald’s promo item from ‘81. It’s so cute! X3

The comb marked “Maxie” is from Hasbro’s Maxie doll line. The dolls were a sort of pseudo-successor to Jem and the Holograms, which had just been discontinued. There was even an animated series. :)

The Smurfette heart brush is part of a brush/comb set.  I can't quite make out what it says on the pink brush and comb but if it says Smurfs it's probably part of the same set.

The Snoopy brush is from Avon and is part of a brush/comb set.

The Libby Lee compact is from a Libby Lee deluxe jewelry set.

The small yellow heart coat hangers are from Polly Pocket (I've seen some floating around my house's old toy boxes) although Idk which one.

Hmmm I'm not sure..... each one of the yellow heart hangers are ~1 inch long.

Strange, the ones I have are under 1 inch. I guess maybe variations?
