Hello! I'm Vanessa and I'm new here. Well, not entirely, I was a member about 10 years ago but haven't visited in just as long so I couldn't remember any of my log in info.  >_<

I recently moved from Los Angeles to Seattle and I work in PR.

I've been collecting on and off for years, mostly G1 and G3. I'm pretty behind on what G we're on now but got excited about collecting again after spotting the Classic ponies at my local Target.

I have a huge collection, including all of my beloved Pony Friends, that are in my mother's garage and I'm afraid I won't be able to recover them (we've been estranged for many years). I'm hoping I can build up my collection again and learn more about the current state of ponies!

All that's left of my old collection is a G1 Princess Sparkle and a G3 Autumn Skye.

Hello Vanessa, welcome (back)! The 35th anniversary line has gotten a lot of people back into collecting :) Good luck building up your collection, you can check out the sales forum here if you would like! I hope I'll see you around, have fun exploring the forum and learning about the current ponies :)

Nice to see you again Vatler.  If you want to retrieve your old account sourdoughstomper may be able to help if you drop her a PM.  The 35th anniversary ponies are awesome.  I am so sad we only got a few in my country, but a few is definitely better than none.  Anyway, it's great you are back into ponies again. Welcome back! I’m sorry to hear you’ve lost most of your collection. I’m estranged from my Mother too so I know how complicated families can be!

Tsk, I hope you'll find a way to get your old collection back! It would be a huge shame to see it go to waste. And of course, I'm sorry to hear you and your mum have become estranged.

Anyway, have fun browsing the forums and looking for new ponies to collect! :happy:
