Ok my favorite (non mlp) surprise from Toy Fair this year is Baby Shark Toys!

Not to get on a soap box - but I really hope these can help improve the public image people have with sharks. They're an important part of the food chain - the "wolves" of the sea - but people vilianize them. :(
So yeah! here's hoping to see happy friendly Sharks in little kids bedrooms!

Maybe the children? I feel like it causes parents to hate sharks. My child's baby shark singing shark toy stays with grandma. *eye twitch*

Well maybe the coming generation will appreciate them (the actual animals) more when they are adults. ;)

My friends dad got one of these as a gag gift for Christmas, as he vehemently hates that song. And now he playable it all the time. I have come to accept this toy, and our new shark overlords. Perhaps I should get one...
And yeah, I really hope these toys inspire kids to *not* be scared of sharks. They’re only scary when they’re coming a bit too close for comfort. But sharks are an important part of marine food chains and ecosystems.

There is nothing wrong with being afraid of sharks. They are fascinating and top predators and we should respect them, but that is also why we should have some healthy fear of them. They can an will screw us up with one good bite.
