Title: Dream Ponies?

Not grail ponies or ponies that are on your wishlist. I'm talking about ponies you may have seen in dreams that don't exist in real life.
I've had MANY dreams with "dream ponies" that I wish were real, including:


Have you guys ever had any dream ponies? Or any other impossible pony-related dreams? I have a recurring dream about finding an old abandoned Celebration Castle for sale at Wal-Mart... in-box, ready for someone to take it...

  • "Princess Hailey": No different from Honeycomb, but packaged with princess pony accessories (hat and wand only)
  • White Sparkle Pony Nightglider: Self explanatory and very pretty. Yes, she had her TAF symbols too!
  • Factory Error Mimic: Mimic, same pose and same hair colours, but her body is orange like Speedy's! Out of all of them at least this one sounds plausible enough to exist :P

This is actually super interesting! I'd actually love to see these ponies sketched!
Sadly, I've never had a dream with a 'dream pony' in it, I think the closest would be a headless ponys and dolls I had nightmares about when I was younger because I had a HUGE fear of headless Barbie and MLP dolls  ^^;
I'd actually love to have a dream about 'Dream Ponies' now  :biggrin: Maybe tonight i'll see one!


EDIT; I actually had a dream last night about ponies made of LEGO! There was Posey, Sundance, Fluttershy and a purple and pink pony with no symbol  :shocked: It was so weird!

I've never had dream ponies but I've had a few pony dreams! They tend to be FiM related but sometimes I get amazing thrift finds that frustrate me when I wake up. Usually of a shelf-full of G1 ponies.

TAF Buttons as a So-Soft. She looked lovely in that green fuzz.

A bright green pegasus variant of Baby Ribbs. He was awesome!

I once had a dream about a large, mechanical Celestia figure! She was beautiful.

I also dream a lot about previous-gen ponies that don't exist, but I can't remember any of them  :huh:

Lots and lots of these but sadly most I can't remember in enough detail to describe. I remember Italian Gypsy made in Milton Keynes, though. That one sticks in my mind...

At one time I kept dreaming about finding Rosette in various places (I really wanted her). Sometimes she looked like her usual self, but sometimes she was in the Quackers pose (which made her look really pretty, btw).

Ha ha! I have had many dreams like this. When I was high school I used to have dreams about the Pony Tales ponies from the 1997 show. God I miss it!!
Besides this I have only had dreams of either canon pony characters or my persona, Sabina.

Uhm, you read my mind. I am currently working on a white Nightglider with pastelly symbols.
I had the idea when I found a super hardened Confetti in my custom box.
She's just a pain to reroot because she is like stone.

I had a dream where I found a TAF pony with fireworks symbols. She was on the Tootsie pose and was purple with light yellow hair. She looked similar to Merriweather I guess.

I would love any gens' series of pegasi with feathered wings, let them be textured plastic or a material that is reminiscent of feathers. All unicorns are "better" (at least, in my opinion) with a horn that is magical, such as with a pearl iridescent sheen or "crystal" clarity. It just appeals more.



The other thing is "Crystal Empire ponies". I think the She-Ra line was on the right track with these:

While the G4 pearlized ponies and G3 Divine Shine Ponies are close-ish, I'd love to see more "crystal" as a breed, with large, sparkling eyes that the G1 Twinkle Eyes had that are lovely translucent and iridescent. They should carry more of a precious stone theme, not just Crystal. I love the idea of the race staying Earth Pony (pegasi maybe, but unicorns and alicorns are too Mary Sue for my taste as something that looks sparkly).

I dreamed there were MLP FIM era Applejack and Pinkie Pie themed hover bikes.  I got ahold of the Applejack one and had a blast.

I have had dreams of ponies that don't exist, but I can't remember any of them right now. I can only remember the feeling of disappointment I get when I wake up and realize I DON'T suddenly have a bunch of super rare, one of a kind ponies. :P
My ponysona Sedona Dreams actually came to me in a dream years ago though! She looks a lot different today than from when I had first "seen" her. That's mostly because I didn't have the artistic talent at the time to put what I had seen in my dream on paper, so she got extremely simplified and altered. I still love her though!

Oh man, I’m happy I’m not the only one whom this happens to. For whatever bizarre reason if I find ponies in my dreams, they tend to be customs, and what’s more they’re often unfinished! I’m talking (completely) bald ponies who have clearly been painted and have not had the head re-attached yet. Imagine giving up on a custom project and leaving it disassembled for a thrift customer to finish...

Orange Mimic definitely sounds interesting, reading about her makes me think of the (at least) 3 seperate occassions where I dreamt I found Mimic...’s head. JUST her head, sitting clear as day on a shelf, no body in sight...asking the clerk to help me look for the body but in the end, they wouldn’t even let me take her head because “why would you want a broken toy???” And I’m like, lady, please. (laugh-crying emoji)

I actually had a pony dream last night. Hopping Pocket had somehow merged with Magic hat so was in the shy pose with pale pink in her hair with a lavender streak. Still had a 3d symbol though. Cranberry Muffin was also there but much paler in colour, with fading pink hair. Her body later changed to pink...

I can't remember who the third one was now...

I had a pony dream the other night. It was about a G3 Sweetie Belle, she had G3 Rarity's symbol on each side, her eyes were blank, she had glitter on her forehead and horn and her mane and tail were white. She actually looked kinda creepy :blink:

I dreamed about a yellow bodied Cotton Candy once! She was so pretty, she looked like lemonade :)

I wouldnt call it a dream pony persay. More like a dream necklace. It was a silver lined one with Surprise on it. I think it looked like her. I kinda wish I found one like it.

I had a dream of a non so soft paradise that was purple  with blue hair, and gold marks.
