Just a tiny one!

The so-softs were from about a month ago, my local toy consignment shop sold them together for $16! Easiest thrift purchase I've ever made. They both cleaned up pretty well (Angel lost some of her factory curl, but she was too gross to touch otherwise) and their flocking is very full!
The Sunny Daze puzzle was just a little pickup from a few days ago. It was the only pony thing in the store, and it was my army pony! They wrapped it with tape which was a bit alarming, but a hairdryer made it easy and didn't damage the printed packaging at all. She even has all 24 pieces! I love finding G3 merch in stores. If only I had the patience to flip through the books, maybe I'd come home with a book sometimes.

The SS look so beautiful! What nice flocking :D The puzzle is very cute. Congrats!

Gotta love so softs! Congrats!

I would say that's a very respectable thrift find!!
I have found more pony stuff in second hand shops since I moved south but not yet anything G1. Posts like this make me hopeful I will find them eventually. I like rescuing and cleaning up G3 and G4 but I miss G1 finds!
Angel and Bangles' flocking looks very soft and pretty.

G1 finds are relatively rare in my area, but if you keep at it you'll find something eventually! This was the same place I found my first G1s at, and it's taken 4 years to find another G1. If you are patient and look every so often, you should find something relatively soon!

OOOOOOOOOOOO what a nice find! Congrats!

I wonder. I certainly don't expect to find any in the area I grew up in any more :( In the 90s my sister and I pretty much stripped it out of G1 ponies to keep or trade and now I really wonder if there are any left there. I have no idea whether people did the same in these areas...but its really unusual to find them and UK people seem to put them on ebay more often. I only ever have luck at toy fairs usually for G1, and ponycon :( Oh well. I guess you're right. Stay positive, right?? XD

Amazing job on the cleaning—they're beautiful! Can't even tell they were dirty at any point, and the hair still looks silky.

Not hijacking your brag at all, but tailrustedleaf, I wanted to tell you your G1 good vibes clearly transmitted, as I found 2 G1 ponies at the carboot today :D
