Title: Price check on rare MO ponies
Post by: Marmalademonkey on September 07, 2018, 10:19:54 PM
Hi all

I am looking at buying the last very rare mail order ponies to complete my collection, but have been unable to find a definitive price check for 2018.
I need a price check for

MO - Mommy Beachy Keen
MO - Baby Beechy Keen
MO - Sweet Scoops
MO - Sweet Scoops charm

Apologies to the moderators if this information is somewhere else - I have been through the PC forum and could not find anything for this year.

cheers
Tanya

A few months ago I saw someone sell Sweet Scoops for $200 and her charm for $300, but have only seen Sweet Scoops herself advertised at prices above $500 since then.

I just bought Mommy Pony for $190 USD, and Baby Pony for $150 USD.  That's without any of their accessories.

A few months ago Sweet Scoops (minor chew marks) went for about $300 USD without the charm.

Sweet Scoops charm often goes for more than the pony does. I've seen the charm hit 400 by itself a few times, although not recently as I have not seen it for sale in a while.

The charm usually sells for more with the cord that goes with it. I have seen it top $500 with that, but sell for less without it. I got my pony and charm a long time ago from a really good friend here, but I have never seen the cord in real life so I guess it is probably quite hard to find even in the US market.

I have noticed her price has hiked again in the last year or so. Sometimes it does drop down a bit so it might be worth playing the waiting game where she is concerned. Also maybe worth checking charm lots on the offchance ;)

Hi everyone

Thanks for your help! the prices were about what I was thinking. I am down to my last expensive ponies to collect, so just want to make sure that I don't go crazy and overspend. I'm from New Zealand too, so everything is twice the price with the exchange rate :(

cheers
