Title: Pinkie Cooper
Post by: princessvaultgirl on August 27, 2018, 06:45:27 PM
I just really love these dolls. I wish i had gotten one. I think its a really cool concept and the dolls themselves look so soft and nice. The little paw hands are my favorite part. I keep hoping I will find one at the thrift store but lately they haven't had much of anything in the toy department.
Do you have any Pinkie Cooper dolls?
What was your opinion of the short run of these dolls? really wish they kept it...

The one set of dolls I don't think I'll get rid off! I absolutely love them, their paw hands are so cute. I've got the original 3.
I wish they had lasted longer, but they were a little too Strange for some kids and collectors, which I can understand. I love weird animal-human hybrids, so it was up my alley for once.  :P

I tracked down the entire set, I think (plus fashion packs), when they were available. I had to buy several online but I actually managed to get a few in store. I absolutely love them and am so glad I heard about them at the perfect time to snatch them all up. I wish there had been more made.

I loooooove Pinkie Cooper :lovey: I so wish they'd made the beach/Cabana sets.. I had a feeling right from the start that this line wouldn't last long, but I'm still sad that they disappeared so quickly :( Were they easy to find in the US? Over here only one or two stores ever had them (Co-Op, Smyths and.. I think The Entertainer might have had them briefly. I know TRU never got them.. Oh and Argos had them too!) :(

I dream of a day when we can have a line of anthro dolls in stores without them dying after one wave... well, there's Enchantimals, I guess, but they're more human-y than these girls. I guess it's the animal head that weirds people out?

Here's my girls:

I love Pinkie Cooper! I have a couple of dolls from when they ended up at Tuesday Morning and I'm so glad I got my hands on a few of them. They're such unique dolls!
