We've all got that long want list filed away in out heads, don't we? The ponies we search for more eagerly than others, and become overwhelmed with excitement when at long last one actually appears!
Who is at the top of your want list? They don't have to be all Nirvanas or Grails, sometimes it's just nice to nab the last pony needed to complete a set.
My wants are all G1s. Shall I start this off? I'm limiting myself to 5, otherwise I'll be here all day! :lol:

Red Roses, Baby Lucky Leaf, Cha Cha and all the accessories I don't have for Brush n Grow Ponies, Sweetheart Sister Ponies and Perfume Puff Ponies. So not much to ask for really!

I've been looking for baby Sugarcake for about the last 18 or 19 years, but her price and my income rise at unrelated rates, and therefore she's always out of my range. Now made worse by the greed of the GSP.
In terms of MOC ponies, I've been looking for Windy (Rainbow, UK card), Ripple (UK card) and Rainbow Magic (UK card) for a long time to fill gaps in my childhood collection MOC hunt.
And in terms of more mundane but still somehow elusive things...
There's the orange haired Tuneful variation.

I'm working on getting some Autumn ponies for my instagram, so a handful or so of those. It's a lot of G3s. Also Abra-Ca-Dabra. I haven't seen her for a reasonable price anywhere!
I'm not actively seeking many G1s right now, but I'd love to find any Tales pony for cheap. Especially Clover!

Ahhhh, Rapunzel. I've given up all hope of ever owning her. She's out of my budget by about x1000 :lol: Same as Mommy and Baby Beachy Keen. Want want want but never gonna happen :/

G1 Applejack, Ice Crystal, and G4 Twi...I mean Pretzel xP I have a few others that I really want but those are my main wants. You'd think that with all the uncommon G1s I've found in the wild I would have found at least one Applejack, but so far no luck.

There's many ponies that make me go "WANT", but one grail stays above them all: brazilian Truly.
I have an online friend over there, she is trying her hardest to find me a pony or two. The chances of her finding North Star or Truly are slim, but it would be a dream come true. ❤ br Truly is so expensive and rare that I don't think I have any chances of getting her otherwise.

Like many of you, I have a long want list but the one pony who has been on the list for over 10 years now is Rosedust!
I'm not sure why she is still on the list. She's not rare and I'm not picky, but somehow we haven't connected yet. Perhaps she's playing hard to get ;)

I need Wingsong pretty badly, she's the last flutter before those are complete but she seems impossible to get. I know she's on ebay a lot, but since I don't do ebay I just stalk tradera and the swedish fb group every day and has for the past two years. I don't really have any other wants besides her.

G3 Applejack is also overpriced in Germany. I don't even know why people insist she is a rare pony because I have no clue if she came out here or not. But I keep on seeing AJs in bad condition marked as "rare" with a price point of 15€ :lookround:

And the thing is I have a giant list on here of ponies I want, and sometimes I knock like 1-3 off of it but then I keep buying all these ponies that weren't even on it! I guess that want list is ponies I want more than others, but really, I probably could just say I want any pony I don't already have. :lol:
(Except maybe Rapunzel, I have no idea why but I'm just not into her at all. Maybe it's the human face symbol. My wallet's not complaining, though!)
