Title: Which pony best represents Earth love?
Post by: Mana Minori on August 05, 2018, 08:34:06 PM
Gratitude for the earth and what it has to offer; its blessings, the gift of life, etc., or 'earth love'. Which pony do you guys think best represents this concept? Should there be one, if there is no such pony produced? What would its name be?

Bright Eyes is very environmentally conscious and not afraid of hard or dirty work.

Posey is a gardening genius who pours love and care into her plants.

Fluttershy has a genuine drive for helping and understanding   animals regardless of species.

I was thinking Treehugger after I posted (I'm tired and can't think) , but those three are good examples, too.

I think many ponies represent earth love particularly those that represent and celebrate the different seasons.

I'm going to nominate a set of ponies though  - the Apple Delight Family The adults grow baby apple trees for the babies and teach them how to look after them and harvest them. That's both looking after the earth and accepting Mother Nature's gifts with grace.

Are G4s welcome? Because I know she's only been on the show once, but FiM's Tree Hugger is my environmental loving pony.

all ponies fromall gens!

Treehugger has actually been in several episodes. She only had a speaking role in "Make New Friends But Keep Discord", but she's been in cameos in "on your Marks", and "Friendship University" (also in the MLP movie)

I was thinking earth love in a more broad sense, like the entire world in the shape of a heart or something to that effect, but I suppose many ponies, on a smaller scale - such as growing and harvesting plants or tending to animals- do fit the concept of caring for mother nature and respecting its gifts. Thanks for bringing up the Apple family!
