Title: Flexible when cured
Post by: SparkleSkye on July 31, 2018, 08:48:04 AM
I'm looking for a craft material to use for pony wear, besides cloth. Something that holds its shape when cured but is still flexible and bendable, sorta like polly pocket clothes or Tempest Shadow's removable armor. Basically I need something sculptable that I can still easily remove from and put back on a pony once its fully set.
Does anyone know of something commercially avalible like that?

There's Sculpey super flex: https://www.sculpey.com/bake-and-bend-clay/84-sculpey-superflex-bake-bend-set

No idea what prolonged exposure to pony vinyl will do to either the clay or the pony though.

You can heat mold foam sheets ...?

I am at work so I can't find something exactly like you need. But fofucha dolls are 3d dolls made from cheap craft foam sheets.

That shoe tutorial gives you an idea how you might be able to warp the sheet on a pony

Cosplayers also use this material for their foam armors...

They also use worbla and thermoplastics but I'm not sure if applicable this small or how flexible it is.
