This girl is a g3 pony with a Mexican accent that never really had a toy given to her. Should HCG1 make one of her? She's cute, and her color scheme reminds me of g3 Sunshimmer/ g4 Sunset Shimmer. Thoughts on this pony?

She's cute! They should've made a toy version of her . . . as well as all those G3 "background" unicorns and pegasi that were never turned into toys.
I'd rather see new characters from the HQG1C, though. To me the fun of that is that they're all totally new characters. (Also Fiesta Flair could easily be customized from G3 Candy Apple anyway.)

not everyone knows how nor has the funds or lookalike ponies to custom, though.

A G3 pony and a few bottle of paints is cheaper to buy than a HQG1C, though.
Ultimately the HQG1C can't make every single pony that everyone wants. I'm happy that they're making unique ponies.
Looking at Candy Apple, I wonder if she actually WAS going to be Fiesta Flair and they just changed her symbol / name at the last minute. Even the placement of the candy apples is really similar to Fiesta Flair.

Edit: She even has the same eye color and "highlight dot" color.

I think she's cute and would have loved to have her made.

I often think the same about Candy Apple. She can be Fiesta Flair's Carny Cousin.

Aww I would have loved them, they look lovely oh well one can dream.

I am not familiar with either Fiesta Flair or Candy Apple before this post, but I think it would be weird if there was no creative connection between the two. Maybe they had two designs and messed around with them and it ended up here with Candy Apple. We know from G1 that Hasbro don't get everything right in animation - including names and symbols. So maybe this is another example of that.

I've never heard of her. But she is really cute! I would've bought her.
-
Im alright with not having her because she probably rubs people the wrong way personally I would prefer the unicorns
-
She was notable for her "teleportation skills" in Pinkie Pie and the Ladybug Jamboree.

Eh. These days people look for something to be offended by, just for the sake of it. That's there problem, not a non offensive toy.

Agreed.

Sadly I do remember some people back in the day complaining about her accent in the animation because "why should a pony have an accent?"
All I could think was, "Do you not realize that the majority of the ponies have American accents? And no one ever complains about Truly's southern belle accent. HMMM."

Really good point...
Though weirdly as a kid I didn't notice so much the accents except Truly's. Even though American isn't my native accent, if every character speaks that way sometimes it just becomes almost unnoticeable...?
But then there's the accent of some of the other characters. And yes, I am thinking of Ice Cream Wars.

Also zee terreeble French accents in zee epizode where zee Newborn Tweens are keednapped.
(Come to think of it Baby Fifi also had a French accent.)

And Baby Quackers quacked. That's a whole other species.

I didn't like the terrible accents at all, including Truly's or G4 Applejack's. I know Texans who are put off by her. But, it's a minor thing overall. And I would never argue against more ponies. :)

Candy Apple is wayyy cheaper than a HQCG1 pony  Plus shipping I paid so much for Genie she ended up being the second most expensive pony in my collection.
I think Fiesta looks too much like a Candy Apple clone to be interesting to me.

I think Fiesta Flair may have morphed into Candy Apple, too. I thought about customizing a Fiesta Flair but she really is so similar to Candy Apple. A Fiesta Flair would be fun to see in another gen, though.
What is HCG1?
