Title: Opening Graceful Glimmer ?
Post by: RoseNoire on April 20, 2018, 07:47:13 AM
Hello everyone. I have this pony, but no information about it. Is that normal her waist is turned like that ? She is stuck in that position, I tried really hard to rotate it but it just won't budge.. I got the idea, she lights up and all, but should I try to open her up ? After all, she has a battery inside (working, but still, what if I find another one with a bad case of corrosion ?). How are we supposed to replace it ? Lilly Lightly has at least an accessible socket for her battery. Not her. I'm confused. Please, send help.
See ? It is bugging me pretty hard, it makes her very unstable, I just tipped her over, I don't even know how. ._.
Have a good day, hope you can help me. ^^
Rose

I've never had that pony, but her body looks similar to Glitter Glide and Loop-De-La. On those two, they can swivel at the waist to be in a "lying down" pose. The one on My Little Wiki looks like it's standing straighter than yours.
My guess is that there simply isn't a way to replace the battery and when it's dead, it's dead. But I could be wrong. Anyone know if her box had additional instructions?

It sounds like yours has gotten stuck somehow. When mine is twisted into the position yours appears to be in, she pretty much falls apart and I can access the battery.
I found this copy of the instructions for her: http://www.transformertoys.co.uk/images/instruction-scans/hasbro/my%20little%20pony%20shimmer%20shine%20as%20the%20flower%20petal%20princess%20instructions.pdf (http://www.transformertoys.co.uk/images/instruction-scans/hasbro/my%20little%20pony%20shimmer%20shine%20as%20the%20flower%20petal%20princess%20instructions.pdf)

Ooh, thank you so much Breyer ! =D I think her previous owner might have glued her for some reason, I'm clearly seeing traces now. Thanks a lot ! Gotta arm myself with a good old hairdryer now. ^^ Thanks for the instructions, this is amazing to keep those ! Have a great day both of you !
