Didn't someone suggest it being a medicine ball? I thought it was a volley ball.

Ooh he is super cute! Definite want.
Funny thing is...I've never even heard of him before now and I'm ashamed as a collector of boy ponies for over a decade now. Wow. Guess you really do learn something new every day.

He was only sold in Europe and the UK, so maybe that;s why - but he isn't especially hard to find or expensive, so hopefully you can find one to add to your pony family :) Many of the later adult boy ponies in Europe (Sportstime and the 3 Family Daddies from 1993) are in that pose rather than the clydesdale one.
He's a Schooltime Pony from 1991 and he originally came with an ABC comb that's unique to this set and a neon yellow and orange satchel. There's a picture of him on this page MOC, but as it belongs to Einhornbaby, I won't post it here as she may want to xD

He's okay, but not a favorite of mine.
The hair of this set (and probably all of the sets from this time period) are rather limp compared to other pony hair.
I do like the Gingerbread pose being used for a boy pony, it suits him very well.

I have them, and I love that shade of blue, and the hair color is a nice touch.

I have him I think I upgraded him at one point. He was the first "boy" when I started recollecting in my herd. Im happy I have some more guys now in my pony collection. He does have a nice blue and the yellow hair is neat too.

Don't have her yet. Honestly think her symbol is unattractive, surely they could have come up with a nicer sports-related symbol which doesn't look like a big brown blob? I will get her to complete the set, but she's not my favourite.

Sportstime is a guy ;) And the symbol is a ball. Possibly a netball, or a volleyball - in motion. So it actually makes a lot of sense as a symbol really...o.O

Have him and love him! Boy ponies are always welcome in my herd, especially ones with freckles :lovey: I love his blonde hair, don't see a lot of ponies with that colour of hair.
