Last week I was at an indoor swap meet and found some G1's (as I keep mentioning in posts as I ask various questions that arose from my visit..so please forgive me). I have a vague idea on which ponies I left behind. I am considering (if my husband agrees) on a possible trip again this weekend to go back for some of them.
I don't have many G1's other than a small number from my childhood and a few I have picked up off and on over the years. The disclaimer here is that I DID NOT look these ones over because last week I was not interested in them (only had so much to spend) so I honestly don't know if it is worth going back to begin with (it's a 45min drive without traffic) and they could of course also have been sold to someone else later in the day.
What I would appreciate from all of you lovely G1 collectors is some good advice on if the price seems "fair" (and I know without seeing them this can be complicated) and if there are some that would be worth going back for. The vendor was asking for between $15-$20 each. Thank you for any advice you can give me :)

Absolutely worth it just for Starswirl. Colourswirls easily upwards of $40. Bright Eyes is also one of the higher end Twinkle Eyes. The rest are probably in the $15-$20 price range so you'd be getting what you pay for. If you like that particular pony, it's a fair price. It's not a bargain but you may be able to haggle for a reduced price if you buy multiple.

I always usher people to Bluerose's eBay price guide. It's not perfect but it's a good guideline: http://www.angelfire.com/oh5/bluerose9978/PRICE/ (http://www.angelfire.com/oh5/bluerose9978/PRICE/)
I believe that, along with Starswirl, Caramel Crunch is a moderately-priced pony.

I'd say Bright Eyes is with the price, as well as Starswirl.

I have noticed some people find waddles difficult to find as well. But this is all speculative depending on condition and of course which ponies you like most. Even if it is a good deal, it is less good if the money is spent on something that you don't like.

I think that's a fair price for many of the ponies if they are in good condition, especially considering you don't have to pay shipping on them. Particularly the baby brothers, Bright Eyes, Starswirl, and I believe Bridal Beauty also tends to be expensive? Certainly she is rarer than Pony Bride . . .
Not sure what the Brush 'n Grows go for these days, it might be inflated a little for them. Then again . . . no shipping charges . . . So mentally deduct at least $3.50 off each one, compared to what you would pay online.

Brush n Grows that I've seen have gone fore around $6-9 recently, especially Braided Beauty, but idk if any are less common.
