Personal: I actually joined over a year ago, but never created an intro post. I'm looking to buy/sell/trade some vintage ponies that I've acquired over the years. Looking to complete my collection, and maybe help complete yours as well!
How old are you? 35- born in 1983, I'm a year 2 pony! :lol:
Where do you live? State, Country? Near STL Missouri
Do you work or attend school? Profession or major? I'm disabled with SLE, and I stay at home with my toddler girl, who very much loves playing with ponies too :)
Who are the important people in your life? My fiance of 5 years, my 4 kiddos, 2 near-step kiddos, (yes, 6 kids total) and my 2 furbabies- Chinese Shar-Pei dogs.
Ponies: are great? are cool? IDK what is suppose to be here lol.
How long have you been collecting?About 12 years off & on, more on lately.
Which generations of ponies do you collect? G1, G2, G3 or G4? Mostly G1, some G2.
What made you want to collect ponies? I had them as a little girl in the 80s, and I've been collecting a lot of my childhood toys.
Tell us about your collection! I've had to get most of my ponies for super cheap, in the wild, or just pure luck through auctions, since I'm disabled and on a somewhat strict income. I do some Ebay here & there for extra. I have a complete collection of Twinkle Eyes, including Mimic, who my fiance bought me for Valentine's Day this year- he says he got it for a steal at $50.
I'm not collecting every pony year/line at the moment. I'm working on a few at a time. Right now I'm looking for:
Certain Daddies (Bright Bouquet, Sweet Celebrations) , Big Brothers(Barnacle, Chief, Tux, 4-Speed) , and Mountain Ponies (like I can afford them lol) and all accessories except Wig-Wam's headdress.
Winged or wingless Ponies- summer wing, windy wing, flutter wings. I only have 1 summer wing- Glow, and a couple flutter wings that are wingless.
Parfum Puff Ponies- all of them.
I'll be working on updating my lists of current trades, wants, as I go, or posting in the correct forums for trading/buying/selling. I look forward to collecting with you all!
