I finally got her last Autumn at a pony meet up, it took only like 27 years to complete the set haha!

I have her but she had a bad eye rub so I repainted it. She's the first pony I ever restored with paint, so for that reason she's a very special girl to me (that, and she glows in the dark!) :P

Bright Glow was one of my very first "abroad ponies"... As a german collector this whole set was new to me as they werent released here. When I started collecting in 2004 there were so many ponies new to me and she was one of them. She appreared on german eBay one day back then and I was soo excited that my husband (back then boyfriend lol) had to bid on her for me! He won her for me and when she arrived I was sooo bedazzled, I just loved her!
So, here she is, shes not perfect but Id never ever trade her for another one <3

I have her! Managed to buy the whole set from a seller in South America a few years ago (cannot remember the country; it was off ebay, though). This is the one pony "Convention Dad" has, too (he's not our dad, but is basically in charge of arranging the room block and making sure everyone is good to go and all that; kind of like the community mom when everyone hangs out at the one person's house all the time) - he had her on his desk at work for the longest time! :D

The glowing magic ponies weren't sold in Germany? I never knew that O.o.
We did have them in the UK. They're called Glowing Magic here not Glow & Show, and have bordered cards like several of the others from this time period - in aqua. Brightglow is a childhood pony for me <3 Her hair is weird, though. Always has been. Pink bits are straight and silky, purple are curly. It made it interesting to style her. Sadly I don't still have her backcard :(

My sister has a variation on the one I have, but it's not in great condition. Her hair is darker in the purple stripes and not curly/silky like mine. This is she but yeah, she's a bit rough. Her hair actually broke one of my pony combs, that's how bad it is O.O. I love Glowing Magic variations though <3

Taffeta, no we didnt have them here sadly. I would have loved the set as a kid <3
One thing to add : Mine totally has the SAME hairthing, one streak is curly, once is super straight :P lol and I always thought it was an error, maybe ... maybe the UK ones were that way?

So much weird hair happened in the UK vs US releases in 1991-2, it's more than possible O.o. Did yours come from the UK? In which case, definite possibility.
How weird Germany didn't get them. O.o. But then you guys had the pretty pal and baby pony set and we didn't, so it balances out??

Have her and love her! Am a huge fan of the Glow 'n Show set, they're all so pretty! I have the full set now, but am still chasing the Dazzleglow variant with the blue glitter hearts though.

I love this pony! I don't actually have any ponies from the set, but they are a big want way back to my childhood.

I don't have her but I love her, she has one of the most beautiful shades of orange for a body I think :). I've always had a soft spot for glow in the dark toys, I wish they had made more with the idea, maybe with winger wings
