I haven't heard of most of these, I'd love to see pictures!! Especially Baby Flutter Ponies?!! :shocked:
Since I haven't seen many prototypes I can't really say what my favorite is, but if more pictures are posted I will. That Posey Pose Birthday Pony is very pretty!

I’m quite fond of the peek-a-boo style baby TAF ponies, Shady pose Good Weather, the Pegasus cookery pony, and the posey pose birthday pony!

I don't have any photo's sorry! My favourites would be baby Truly and first tooth baby Sundance. And Whizzer in Masquerade's pose. According to what I can remember off the top of my head right now :)

The Dance n Prance ponies in Wind Whistler's pose! I think they appear in the commercial? For a long time I thought they really existed, not just as prototypes. They would probably fall over when dancing though.

This. I still feel shortchanged because Songster in the comics had wings. And I loved pegasus ponies as a kid and I put her on my christmas list. And it was one of the few times I got the pony I wanted...but she had no wings. :'( I love my Songster, but I still wish she had had wings.
I also love that Star Gleamer in the Fizzy pose. And the baby Shady with regular eyes (that one so much I commissioned a custom o.O).
I love prototypes in general. I have some nice UK images from UK inserts at home. If nobody else has posted any by the time I get back to my room I'll post some. I have to go teach people stuff about Meiji Japanese riots now.

Yes, there she is. The beautiful perfect Paradise. *sigh*. There isn't a single prototype that can match her in my affections. I still regret her non-sale to this day. :'( boo Hasbro UK.

There are also some interesting Happytails prototypes on the box for the Perfume Puff/Poof & Puff Palace if anyone has a good image. Squeezer and...someone else, forget who. Squeezer is in Shady's pose I think..?

I imagine it didn't happen because literally 10 seconds after you began playing with flutters in something like that, it'd be a wings off situation...

I don't have pictures, but my favorites would have to be that set of other Scribbles and Dabbles type ponies! There was a set of customs made for some of them at some point, but I don't think anyone's ever made a complete set, which is a shame.

Another favourite of mine. If only they had looked this way. The comics always drew them like this...so Singing Pocket was always a unicorn!

I love that entire set. They're one of the few sets I'd complete. She is stunning as a unicorn! But I'm glad we got the Bunnyhop pose at least.

For me it's the BBE prototypes (that are actually not BBE.. NBBE Baby Truly, etc) and the dolls that were meant to be sold with the Pony Friends. (I'd move heaven and earth to get my hands the doll that went with Kingsley.. maybe I'll have a custom made of her one day, lol.)
Anyone have the photo of the prototype birthday babies, the one that showed them as baby boys?
Oooh, and not sure if these count as prototypes since they do exist, but the OOAK-as-far-as-we-know variants of Baby Susie and Baby Billie - so cuuuute :D

Taffeta - IIRC there was a prototype playset (kitchen playset maybe?) that had a yellow cat pictured with it, do you have a photo of that? I seem to remember you posting it before but maybe I'm confusing things :P So many prototypes to keep track of..!

Me too.. It's such a lovely playset! It's like a tiny nursery for flutters! I've even considered trying to make a custom one, but I still have to study how I could do it and the materials.. I'm way too perfectionist and hate it when the things I have in my head don't materialice as I want. :p

I kinda know the feeling. I'm very creative, but I personally am terrible at crafting.
You too? I've been considering modifying a large, ornate birdhouse to try and look like it.
