Hi everyone! You may remember my post last year (sounds so strange to say that!) about this girl. She had her heart on the wrong side, and I presumed her to be otherwise the same. However, I looked over her again and noticed a significant difference - her eye pattern, and several other, small differences.

Here’s a picture I found of a similar pony (heart wise) so another does (or did as she’s a proto :cry:) exist. All credit to ASM for the other pony picture :)

Regular:

Lighter green eye highlight is on top of the yellow
Black eyeliner
Body Much more purple in colour, smooth shimmer to plastic
Hot pink flowers in symbol
Hoof heart on non display side, where the magnet is

Oddball:

Light green highlight is underneath yellow
Blue eyeliner
Brighter pink body. Glitter is present but looks like when you take a really grainy photo as opposed to shimmery.
Lighter pink flowers in symbol
Hoof heart is on display side

Sadly I have no idea how to help you or bring any further information, but I love pony variants, so congrats, this is amazing. Thank you so much for showing this pony up close. Can we also see her cutie mark ? =)

I also love variants! I'm glad there are places like this where we can all see and share them! And no problem about sharing her :)

Thanks for the pic ! The one on the right looks smaller. Are they the same size ?
I've looked for more information about her, there are actually two different releases of her ( http://www.strawberryreef.com/Index/Name/cherryblossomIII.html ), her differences have just never been documented before.

I'd second the notion you've simply got two Cherry Blossom's that were made at different times/factories.  The recipes for various paint colours aren't always 100% consistent, especially between years.  Same with vinyl recipes. The alignment of the eye highlight comes down to how the pony was held in the pad printing machine, so one of them was probably a little askew.   As for the hoof heart, again someone probably put her in the machine facing the opposite way and stamped on the wrong hoof.  It happens!

Awesome, Rose! Thank you  ^.^ Wish I could tell you which was which, but they've both come to me secondhand without anything. I don't even know if the uk got the garden accessories release, as we missed quite a few bonus releases.
