I just found out G1 Sandcastle and Shovels did NOT come with the sandbox accessory, despite the fact that it was included with some Newborn Twins the year they came out! Like . . . come on, Hasbro! LOL!

Probably so you'd have to buy another set of newborn twins to get a sandbox for these two! :lol:

Hahaha! I thought you'd discovered ponies in an actual children's sand pit or something. You're right though, it would have made much more sense to give them the sand box instead of rockers!

It does seem silly they didn't go with the obvious accessory pairing there!
I miss the days toys came with so many fun accessories. I still remember unboxing Jabber and Jebber and setting them up with their sandbox and ribbons and combs. These days you're lucky if a pony comes with a brush.

I never knew this either! :lol: I got Shovels secondhand as a kid and also had the sandbox, and would have assumed they came together!

Half the fun I had as a kid was unboxing to a nice haul of accessories. Back on topic I thought you found something but that could just be my anthropology major talking. I lost a few Star Wars figures to sandboxes back in the day. So if anyone here living in southern Cali finds half a squadron of storm troopers. You're welcome.

They should have come with a sandbox. The baby/newborn accessories always seem a little random to me. BBE Gusty came with a high chair but no dish or spoon. She did have a bottle though.

Hahaha xD I have those twins MIB and that NEVER occurred to me. You are so right. Poor babies!! I guess Hasbro wanted them to play nicely with Big Top and Toppy or Tickles and Giggles (I think it's those sets?) and it was encouraging kids to need to get two sets??

I already knew they didn’t thank to the mylittlewiki.org site, but you’re right - they totally should have! :lol: Now I’ll need to get more sandboxes for them, so it makes sense. ;) Yay, excuse! :lol:
