Title: Animal Crossing Mobile!
Post by: tailrustedtealeaf on October 24, 2017, 07:07:21 AM
Any Animal Crossing fans? It looks like we are getting the mobile version we were promised last year!

It looks like no details are announced yet, but I was worried my shift would make me miss it live (EST time zone here!). I just gotta try to stay awake.

Given my experience with mobile games so far, I am scared, very scared.

A simulation title like Animal Crossing combined with "micro"transactions is a disaster waiting to happen.

They sure are making a big deal about it by giving it its own Direct, as well.

*sigh* I just want to hear about the inevitable Switch Animal Crossing.

I'd die if bells were premium currency. Imagine forking over $2 for a digital shirt or sofa that you may grow tired of!
The Switch version better not pull an Amiibo Festival on us..I just want classic gameplay.

I hate to be a party pooper but I am not a fan of mobile games. I am also eagerly awaiting a Switch Animal Crossing. I hope it is as wonderful as New Leaf is. I have spent so much time on that game.   I know if a Switch version comes out, my mom will be wanting to play too. I may have to get her a Switch as a present if it comes to that.

It looks cute, and like a unique spin-off, like Happy Home Designer.

There is a currency that can be sped up by buying with real life money. Totally expected. However, from what they've shown it is mainly a matter of patience. If you have a lot of patience you shouldn't have to even think about spending money.

There's got to be a catch, though. I hope so dearly they never lock limited time exclusive items behind that currency.

I love animal crossing! I am a bit cautious of a mobile life simulation game like animal crossing. I feel like while it may be okay, it won’t be as great as we hope. That’s not to say we shouldn’t give up completely though! They may just surprise us.

I'm relieved that bells still seem to be something that you get in game, and it seems like the leaf tickets (the premium currency) don't have too much importance unless you're really itching to get something done.

Ugh, I'd hate that. I hope it's not what the Gameloft MLP app does where you have to complete something within a certain time limit, but doing so is impossible without a good premium currency stash or willingness to spend dollars.
I'm pretty excited, though! Hopefully this doesn't deter from whatever Switch releases they plan to release.  :hope:

It looks okay for a mobile game. Too bad you can't play offline. I will give it a try and hopefully it will tide me over long enough for some news about AC Switch. :)
