Title: Euro/UK Baby Ponies
Post by: forever_cuddles on October 20, 2017, 08:33:13 AM
So this may be a dumb question, but what accessories did some of the euro exclusive baby ponies come with? I know that Baby Applejack came with the standard Play and Care set accessories (crib, bottle, bib, etc), and that Baby Bow Tie came with a pink stroller of sorts, but how about Hopscotch, Buttons, Lemon Drop, Honeycomb, and Baby Cherries Jubilee? Does anyone know?

I just had a quick search and didn't come up with anything!

Good question.

Taffeta's site is very helpful.  Many of them were released with just a bottle :)

Thank you so much! I was hoping some of these babies also came with Play and Care sets (as I love having the complete collections for each baby). Maybe I'll collect some extra cribs and accessories for them just for fun!  :)

I have a picture of Baby Hopscotch moc still to add (sadly not my pony but donated from one of my superstar contributers) and her accessories are much the same format as baby CJ but I can't recall the colours off hand. Bottle and ribbon seems the norm. I have a feeling baby Hopscotch may have a dark pink ribbon but don't quote me for sure.

I think it would have been wonderful if they had had play and care accessories as well!

Baby Lemon Drop in shy pose had a stroller and accessories like bow tie but in lavender.

Blossom pose baby LD is like baby CJ with bottle and ribbon.

Also, the UK had baby accessories set sold separately from ponies.   They were marketed for the Loving Family ponies.  Scroll down to the bottom of this link:

So far, Baby Hopscotch is the only Euro pony I have. They are all on my list of big wants. I want the NBBE babies as well some day... I think they did come with Play and Care accessories, just like their BBE counterparts.

I have to do my obligatory UK pony information custodian twitch here because the term NBBE is really ugly.

Also though the "Play and Care Set" term actually belongs to those ponies, and to the other three sold in the UK, not the US sets at all. It's a UK term used in the UK and Europe only and applies officially to baby Applejack, Cotton Candy, Blossom, Ribbon, Heart Throb, Lickety Split and Gusty in those places. I think the Wiki adopted the term because it's a handy one with all those accessories, but technically it doesn't even include Baby Glory and Baby Moondancer ;) and it is the proper set name for the ponies listed above. I really hope one day people will stop using the NBBE term as Play and Care Set Baby is so much nicer.

Babies Hopscotch and the others that came with bottles and ribbons were only sold in Germany, Austria, and a few other countries. I don't think they have a special set name O.o. We didn't have them in the UK :(. We only had the seven I listed above and the two with the strollers.

Thanks for adding the link to my site :) The German release babies on card were just called Baby-Pony. I've hopefully included the info for the European Play and Care babies in amongst the accessories - but marked as regular rather than NBBE. I'm compiling checklists which might make it easier to see accessories for specific babies together :)
