Title: MLP Dungeons & Dragons dice tin is on Hasbro Toy Shop!
Post by: LadyMoondancer on October 17, 2017, 09:51:41 AM
I didn't attend Hascon, so I figured I'd never get a shot at this . . . but it turns out it's on Hasbro Toy Shop!

It's $20, which is pretty good since it comes with a dice set and those are usually about $10 by themselves.

And even though it only shows one ten-sided die, the description says it comes with two. ;)

Huh that's... interesting o.o

I guess I'm late to the party but I had no idea Dungeons & Dragons did a pony collab. I wish the dice were a little more exciting for that price (glitter? marbled? something?) but the tin is pretty cute.

Unfortunately there aren't any MLP modules for D&D--but I know some people have run MLP D&D sessions at pony meets!

Hasbro now owns Wizards of the Coast, who put out D&D, so maybe someday there D&D modules for it.  (Also there is an official MLP RPG, it's just not D&D.)

Yeah, I do wish the dice were marbled or something.

Let's try to guess what classes the ponies are playing . . .

Pinkie Pie - Barbarian

Rarity - Warlock?  She just seems like a Warlock player.  (Warlocks get their magic by making a deal with something powerful, like Cthuhlu or something.)

Twilight Sparkle - Wizard, because they are the spellcaster class based on book learnin'.

Fluttershy - Druid

Applejack -Ranger probably

Rainbow Dash - Rogue

Thanks for posting I was hoping the set would be put of for sale after Hascon.
