Title: 1980's G1 Pony Halloween Costume

There was some discussion about the 80's pony costumes and what's out now for G4 pony costumes so I thought I'd post this picture of me wearing my 80's pony costume. I never have figured out why the mask is Bubbles and the costume has Buttons.

Mistaken identity?
I never had a MLP one but I did have a Peppermint Rose costume like this. Whenever I see photos, I think what were people thinking back then? The darn things are creepy, and cheap...lol.

I see a Buttons one with Buttons mask and Buttons shirt. Factory error or human trying on and putting back wrong or something error?

I think the humanoid 1980s licensed "character" costumes were far more scary...

Try the humanoid costumes. Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite, LADY LOVELYLOCKS! BARBIE! Why anyone thought the masks were a good idea is beyond me.

T-shirts printed with the graphics would have been so much better...

Ponyfan, I had the same kind of mixed-up costume when I was little, where the mask didn't match the bottom. I remember it being Buttons and Magic Star though. That would make more sense than Bubbles; Magic Star and Buttons are from the same group and year.

The mask could be Magic Star. I'm really not sure what pony the mask is supposed to be or how many different MLP costumes Ben Cooper had.
