I never have enough shoes, as I have flat, wide feet and its misery finding them!

I've had the same pair of Sketchers for like 7 years.

They are the only shoes I own.

I hate shoes. They never fit painlessly, it's so hard to find comfortable ones.
I love Doc Marten's, I've worn them since I was 14 probably, and it's about time to buy a new pair. I've had 6 or 7 pairs over the years.
Heels I hate the most. Make me walk like a drunk.

You can never have too many shoes Dragonfly!

I have at least 30 pairs. I try to thin them out once in a while but somehow it keeps growing :lookround: I am short so I love heels, but at work I wear colourful sneakers (bright pink usually, our uniform is black, and my hair is nowadays a bright red, it all goes so well together XD)

Latest pair of shoes I bought was a three inch heel, suede cloth grey ankle boot. They're so shiny and nice and I don't get to wear them too often sadly. I am on the haunt for some nice pairs to wear every day now during autumn. I'll shop either during lunch or after work, today. Maybe both.. Just, don't tell my boyfriend  :P

No pics, because photobucket and I are no longer friends >_<.

Sketchers are a classic for a reason, and they've been a staple in my wardrobe for years. I've got two pairs, both black, boots for winter and sneakers for summer. It's what I mostly wear in my leisure time.

I recently bought myself a pair of nice black low-heeled boots for work. Heels and me don't get on very well. I can wear them for a couple of hours without too many problems, and I do so on special occasions, but they often give me blisters.

I live in my biker boots :)
I don't buy new footwear unless I have to, I'd rather spend my money on ponies and dolls! The biker boots are awesome value, they cost about £100 but they last for YEARS even though I walk a lot.

Doc Martens are awesome and last for years! I've had my pair since I was 19.
I also own two pairs of sneakers
1 pair of nice shoes for special occasions
1 pair of flip-flops for around the house or when I go out to water or something.

I don't have many shoes, since I don't have a closet with enough space to fit any shoes in there. So I have three pairs of main shoes at the moment. I have sandals to wear when it's warm out, boots (short ones) to wear when it's not warm out, and then black non-slip shoes I wear at work. I also have a couple wedges and heels that I wear on more special occasions where I won't be doing much walking.

I really want to get a new organization thing for my closet so I can fit more in there so I have space for more pairs of shoes.

I love shoes but I'm kind of picky about them, which is technically a good thing because it keeps the house from being overtaken (clothes are a whole other matter entirely) For a few years I stuck solely to trainers and hi-tops but I've gotten back into boots lately as well, just a bit more down-to-earth ones than the goth boots with the massive soles. There's absolutely nothing wrong with those in theory, they're very groovy, it's just the last pair I had resulted in horrendous shooting pains down one side of my foot! D:
My favourite pair at the moment is kind of a toss-up between my trainers (so comfy it's like wearing clouds) and some preloved boots that I just fell in love with immediately - honestly, that plaid pattern! :lovey:

I love pretty shoes, 50s style peeptoe heels, 60s chunky platform mules... but not for the past year as my feet were aching + I couldn't bear a heel.

I spend most days in a cheap pair of trainers - I bought 2 pairs from Decathlon as they were sooo comfy! One pair for daily, the oter saved just for gym.

At college/uni my daily wear were suede Converse 1 star and Dr Joe's which had the star and arrow. Many a gig was attended in these shoes, as were many miles of London trekked through! I had some DMs for my weekend job but I never really took to them.

I am very lucky to own a now-vintage, near-mint pair of Vivienne Westwood black platform heels. Too much in awe to actually wear them so the soles are still pristine!

Here is a link to Sinead O'Connor wearing very similar shoes:

As autumn is here I am looking for a smart new pair of boots with a gentle heel - a bit like a Chelsea boot or jodhpur boot at the base but with a knee-high pirate style at the top  :P as they will look great with skinny jeans

These are my shoes! :D For everyday purposes like work I wear boring black sneakers, but the shoes in the picture are the ones I really like to wear (though I must admit that I haven't worn the lilac sneakers yet, I love the colour, but they're not really me). In the summer I sometimes wear black ballerinas. I would LOVE to own some chunky goth boots, but they are crazy expensive. So I compromise with cheap shoes that at least have the right atmosphere over them, because I mostly wear long black skirts and other witchy items in my free time.

As for my dream shoes... There are these high, black Doc Martens with red roses on them. They make me cry. They are so, completely, totally me. But since they cost almost €200, I will probably never own them.

I really envy people who can walk into a shoe store and just easily buy shoes. I wear a size 12 WIDE WIDE in womens. It is a very rare size in my country. I can really only find cute shoes on eBay. I love boots. I bought a pair of boots in that size and even still, they are tight and give me blisters. I have very flat feet with zero arch so I get a lot of issues with them. I also have a bone in my feet that needs surgically sawed down, but I am too scared to have it done.

Shoes are a luxury I wish I could indulge in. :P  I spend a lot of time wearing old tennis shoes and crocks.

Today I wore my Sketchers when shopping, they are really comfy and in chilly days like today, they actually keep feet warm. I also wore riding boots, as I rode today also :)

My favorites are, of course, my red Converses :P

I'm picky about my shoes because if they're not comfortable, I won't wear them.  I'd rather go barefoot any day.  But the shoes I have found that I do like are DC brand Chelsea style skate shoes.  The only real negative about them is that they're hard to find in stores and I think even the few stores that used to carry them have made them online only.  It seems like a lot of shoe styles are online only anymore.  How am I supposed to know if they're comfortable if I can't try them on before I buy them?
