Title: Merpony Shells Have Trouble Sticking?
Post by: Leave a Whisper on September 24, 2017, 11:51:57 AM
Is anyone having trouble getting the shells and starfish to stick? More specifically Lily Drop's. I thought at first it was because mine was in the water, but DD says her Lily Drop's shell isn't sticking either.

Her Bubble Splash's shell sticks just fine and is on a sliding closet door.

Is it just Lily's shell? Or are there other merpony shells who have problems? Or is it just ours?

I've had trouble with Sea Poppy's. Hers will not stick unless l get the suction cup really wet. It took several tries to get it to stick. In my latest picture the shells are just leaning on the wall.

Same here... unless I really really wet them, they wont stick. Afterwards my seapony though stuck for a whole couple of days (tried it on my closet window).

Debonaire Thundercloud said the same thing about his baby sea pony shells too:/ I've yet to open mine.

Yeah I figured this out the hard way a few days ago. Woke up at night hearing a loud bang. It was Lily Drop droppin on the floor in my cabinet. Really startled me. :P

I thought I was the only one! My Jelly Bee keeps falling off my shower cabinet's walls! Just got to make it extra wet! :)

yeah, after putting them on a high-traffic spot in my room where they were subjected to a bunch of movement and jostling, they kept falling. now i have them on my bathroom mirror that i never touch and they stay just fine! you do have to get them really wet though. i soaked the whole suction in warm water (mind you, not hot enough to do damage) and pressed them firmly to the glass surface, they've stayed pretty well! it's a lot more tedious than i was hoping for, but for a $5 toy i guess you get what you pay for!  :P

Well...now we see how the next gen aquatic ponies will be subjected to mold. Or at least their shells. Darn Hasbro!  XD
