A friend told me about a new line at Ulta of MLP makeup and nail polish available at Ulta. I'm not a big fan of the eye shadow palettes but I just want to share in case anyone here is!
There's a 16-piece eyeshadow palette, a 14-color collection of nail polish by China Glaze, and a special online-only 2-piece nail polish set with friendship rings for Songbird Serenade (so cute).
Thoughts?

Yep, we had a thread on the nail polish when it was announced. It's really pretty, I bought the Songbird Serenade pack and am wearing it right now!
I want to pick up the Mane 6 pack sometime too.
I'm not much of a face makeup person though so I won't be buying any of the PUR stuff.

Oh dear, I apologize for making a duplicate post. DId a search but didn't find it!
I'm not much of a face makeup-wearer either, but a few of the polish colors have me dreaming. Would love to see what it looks like in use!

Just when I decided no more makeup for a long time (I probably have more eyeshadow and nail polish, for example, then I can ever use.) oh well, a little more won't make much of a difference. Way to end my 2 year no buy!

I've got several bottles of the nail polish and am also looking at the eyeshadow palette. :) if you don't want the friendship rings that come with the gift set Ulta sells the gold and black polish separately.

I love love love the nail polish colors. The Songbird Serenade set looks particularly pretty together :)
I am not so keen on the eye shadow palette, the colors are a tad too bright for me.

How is the polish? I don't like ones that have a really strong smell or chip easily. Are they worth the price you think?

oh!! a face pallette!!! does anyone know if it has pictures of the ponies on the cover or smth? i would like to buy it, if it has any semblance of actually being pony-related, instead of just bright colors.

I have no idea if this is the average price of makeup or not since I don't use it but yeah this stuff is pretty pricey to me!

i think thats pretty average honestly but like. do i REALLY want to blast 30$ on this pallette i will use once or twice a year? though it would be funny to be using a mlp pallette for my mlp cosplays lol....
i doubt this sort of thing will go on sale and it's nonapplicable with coupons... i will have to think it over . :rolleyes:
