Title: Dirt inside
Post by: CarolSpain on July 01, 2017, 06:48:42 AM
Hi!
I need help with a couple of my ponies. A G1 baby and a G3.
One of them has a lot of rust and the other... I don't know, simply dirt.

I need some tool that fit and go through the legs to clean.

How do you clean your ponies inside?

Toothbrushes
q-tips
baby bottle cleaning brushes

use toothpaste to remove rust!

q- tips are a great thing to use, I completely got rid of the rust that filled two baby ponies that way.

Pipe-cleaners work well too, just twist a bunch of them together to make it stronger.
Hot water will help make the vinyl softer and easier to bend so you can reach down inside the legs.

What I do is use those surgical clamp things. I roll up a wad of paper towel and clamp it in the clamps.  Then I shove it into the leg and twist and turn until it comes out clean.

They're called hemostats, also very good tools to have!  ;)
