Title: Flocking a pony
Post by: Crowning_Glory13 on June 24, 2017, 05:51:14 AM
I just saw a picture if a flocked apple Jack! Can you actually flock a pony? Does anyone have pictures? Does anyone do it for trade/sale? I just fell in love and thought what a great idea to do with a bait. I have an amazing g peachy, but she has some small holes. I would live to give her a fuzzy look to make her feel new again.

Yes people can. It takes a flocking gun, some have even made one.

Yes, you can reflock ponies with a flocking gun, but you can never perfectly re-create the flocking used on original mlps. Afaik that type of flocking is not available anymore because they don't make it anymore. But you can reflock ponies using any other type of flocking, and make it "stand up" using a flocking gun. There's a great guy out there who reflocks GI-joes,

I've been meaning to message him about possibly reflocking ponies but have never gotten around to it. I wonder if he would do it. If i know which applejack you are talking about, there's a tutorial on how that specific one was flocked : )

Tldr, you can never match the original texture of flocking but you can reflock ponies.

Flock requires some sort of static to make it stand on it's end. It doesn't look right otherwise...

It also comes in different sizes, so that is something to consider as well.
