Title: My Little Pony (project)
Post by: ColdRuru on June 15, 2017, 01:31:51 PM
Hi! I just started a new drawing project, about My Little Ponies (G1). So I'm gonna share with you my searchs... Today I made try to stylize between their design, my way to draw and a real horse anatomy (because I'm picky). I choose this, their still a little to improve (tomorrow with a new eye I guess) but I'm ready to build a scene with:
And that's not my first try to do "My Little Ponies" those where the subject I choose to do my first digit tries... so as it's just experimentation the drawing isn't really interresting lol.
Yeah, pretty much I'm excited about this new project :) I will do personnal commission if this goes well and you like it!

Oh wow, your watercolours are amazing! :wow:
Love all the pony art, too - the first sketch especially. Looking forward to seeing the finished drawing! I always love it when people apply real horse anatomy to their MLPs. :)

Thanks a lot for your kind words, my actual project is in watercolor, because it's what I like best :)

Ooh I wish, I would LOVE to work on MLP design. I've got the actual Art Book (Art of Equestria) and I think it's awesome, but yes, ponies are too much stylized, even if they are cool. I wonder if an Art Book exist for the vintage MLP, I would be more than happy as founding old pony artwork is hard ;)
