Do you have her? What do you think of her? Share some more pics!
I have her. ^.^
-
I'll pass.
Her pose, colours and symbol are all a miss for me. XD
-
Have her. She's not one of my favorites but I need her to complete my collection :)
-
I like her because of her muted color. She is simple, yet elegant, and comes in my favorite pose. If my Sunbeams were not scattered in boxes, I would love to include a group picture. may get one up yet :inlove:
-
I really like her! I didn't know about her until pretty recently but she's really unlike other ponies. Just her colors and overall design sets her apart I think. I'd like to have her someday.
-
I don't want her, but my daughter sure does. I love her elegant old fashioned colors, but I dislike her pose. Now if she was on the Glory pose I'd be all over her.
-
I have her, but would love a variant as well.
-
The streak of yellow in her hair really just doesn't do it for me. It's weird because I love yellow-bodied ponies.
-
want her! not a huge fan of the pose, but i do love everything else!
-
I have this pony. She is so pretty like a sunny day with a light blue sky. I like to look past the pose. :) There is always custom ponies if I don't like the pose.
-
One of my childhood ponies. :) Sunbeam was a boy in my herd, husband of Moondancer and father of Baby Moondancer (one of the two mother/baby sets I had, incidentally). I'm not fond of the pose either, but I'd never be able to let go of him. :good:
-
Definitely want.
-
Quite a big want. However, she is one of those ponies who has to be as mint as possible, because she looks really manky really fast.
-
I have her, but I didn't go out of my way to buy her: she came as part of a large lot of ponies in my first eBay purchase. I do love her colouring though, and would love to get her 'Sunstone' variant one day.

Sunstone Variant? :what:

Italian Sunbeam, but with Moonstone's hair. So apparently known as 'Sunstone'. I am new to the Arena, so I don't know who thought it up, but I have wanted her since I saw one on eBay :)

That sounds beautiful. :lovey:

I dug my Sunbeams out and took a picture of my small army. Plan to add more customs down the road, could use a baby or two :inlove:
front row are all customs; on card is Greek, 2nd row US released, French, and Italians (2)

I am really loving your army there. I love the custom seapony so cool! :D

I agree with this but I like the pose more now than I did to begin with.
She is so beautiful in person.
The colours in that photo look a bit off to me, mine is more of a powder blue.

I wonder what people have against her pose! I really like it. She seems so serene and elegant. Makes me wonder how ppl love mimics pose but hate this one xD

agree. I like her pose (Moondancer's), Gusty's and the shy pose more than any other adult pony pose. I have described her pose as a wishful or shy pose as I envision her swirling her left front hoof into the ground while looking up into the sky. That's just my take on it of course. With that being said, I am curious what is it about her pose that people don't like.

Maybe because it looks like she has a fatter bottom? I dont really know? She is what she is and so is Moondancer. I really love the mimic pose too. Though I do may like some poses than others. I totally think to look past the poses. A pony is a pony that I love. :)
-
Perhaps her face looks more duck-like than normal. I don't think there's much wrong with her body shape, though.
-
She wasn't a childhood pony of mine, I ended up purchasing her from EBay when I got back into collecting and so glad I did!
-
As a child I had an irrational dislike of Sunbeam. She wasn't sold here so it wasn't to do with her pose or anything like that. It was entirely because of the way she was in the comics. I just felt like she was an idiot obsessed with throwing parties. As an adult I realise she actually isn't presented that much as an idiot, but she did generally appear in relation to throwing parties, and it was superficial and it annoyed me. I loved Glory and Moondancer and Twilight, who all seemed to have more mystical unicorn qualities about them, but Sunbeam I never clicked with.
I actually am not sure if I do have a regular HK one or not. My sister does, but I am not sure about me. I know I have a regular Italian one, though.

Have her. I really like her even though I'm not the biggest fan of the pose. There are worse poses though :)
-
I love her. I'm not the biggest fan of that pose but her concept and colours are a massive win for me and also the fact that she's a unicorn. She's one of those ones that I really cherish, there's just something a bit special about her.
-
Sunbeam is super pretty :)

I have her and adore her. My 5 year old son has one of his own that was "bait" (chewed up leg, missing horn and ear, etc.) and he plays with her every day. He calls her "Lighthouse" and says she was in a battle with a wolf.

My problem with the mould is that it's not very proportionate. Uneven legs, strange gait, potato like body and a face that does not look quite finished.
-
I love this pony! I don't have her but I had Moondancer since childhood. Because of that, her pose looks "normal" to me.

I agree with that because of her pose. Though if they say put her in the sparkler pose she would be very pretty. :D

She'd be gorgeous in that pose.

Want her and as a kid I called her Light bulb. My childhood BF had her in her herd.

That's cute.

Have, both loose and MOC. She always struck me as a slightly thicker pony, just something in the way her mould was sculpted. That said, I think she's very pretty.
