Title: Squishy pony
Post by: pilarsworld on April 19, 2017, 09:29:29 AM
I recieved a pony lot today and one of them has a much softer body than usual..I can press the sides in without putting too much pressure on it.

Has anyone else ever come across a pony like this or does anyone have any info on what might have caused it?..Many thanks.

Yep, some ponies are known to have soft plastic. IIRC it has to do with how the plastic was ground in the factory and bottom of the barrel plastic resulted in soft ponies. Conversely, some ponies are known for their extra hard feeling plastic! I'm talking G1, is yours G1?

I didn't even know about this until I joined the the arena. I never even noticed my ponies squishyness!! Of course I immediately ran to the shelf to dutifully squish every pony butt in sight to check, and sure enough! Some ponies are just squishier while some are hard as a rock. My glory is very very soft. Who is your squishy pony you just got?  :   O

Does it have a plastic ring around the base of its tail?  It might be a Happy Tails pony.  They had a gimmick where you pressed in their sides to make their tail spin.
