Are there any pictures of a Indian Funskool MIP or of their back cards/box?? Do we know anything about their packaging??
I suspect they were packed in English language, seeing as India has a huge English speaking population, but I so hope and wish they were not! I can't recall ever seeing or hearing about a Funskool MIP but that has the potential to be a especially interesting one so hope someone knows something!
On a side, do we know their distribution? Was it all of India or just specific regions? Pakistan?
I've seen posts with people finding these in the wild, primarily in the US and UK, but only once (Bridget's mum?) do I recall a post about finding them in actual India. Do we know of any others that came to the collector community directly from their native country?
Tell me more about Indian Funskool!

I haven't seen a MOC one, but I remember photos of Funskool ponies with outfits. Does anyone have those photos?

I would love to see a MOC one! They are beautiful ponies!

I remember that! do we know if those were sold separately or with the pony like some of the Brazilian sets?

BridgetsMum had Indian ponies from "new" ^.^ She got them in clear underwear boxes (I kid you not and the size was XL)
I don't recall ever seeing an Indian pony MOC or MIB.

I think snyfez also had some that came out of India with the plastic still around their heads, but I can't remember the rest of the details of the story!

say my name three times and I shall appear! lol
Yes I received some Indians froma friend who was traveling for business and randomly brought up MLP with his host (note: always ask/brainwash folks about your collecting...you never know when it will pay off :) )and it turned out the host's brother in law had worked at the factory. They shipped him 3 ponies and some ponywear and a brochure they still had. The heartbreaking thing is I think they might have taken the ponies out of package to ship them as they were perfect- with plastic around the hair and combs. I still have one.
Unfortunately I was never able to get any follow up info for picts. ...so these ponies are as close to MOC as I have seen.

Thank you so much for sharing snyfez, they are amazing to see. I don't think I've seen the Royal Pony pony wear or the Parade pony wear before. I recall BM had the Tea Party ponywear too :bigups:

Wow color me very impressed with these.

Its so lovely to see them pristine like that! I also adore the pamphlet! "Super gift offers from My Little Pony!" Indeed! :heart;

They came on cards with English text. The artwork was the same as that of collectors pose pony cards from the US.
I got all of mine that way as a child, but traded or sold them all on here to cover emergency veterinary costs before I started working full time.

No photos of them MOC, sorry!
However, I have this photo which I took of them when I started collecting MLP again in the 2000's. They've all gone to new homes since, along with the duplicates that I had...
