oooooh my god, how cute :D
So cute! May I ask what Lilligant is holding in that picture?I high-key thought it was a dorito at first glance
On one hand, I'm super jealous that you have access to all of those cute, exclusive plushies over there in Japan. On the other hand, I'm kind of lucky that I don't have a Pokemon Center near me because all of my savings would be spent on Rowlet and Rockruff merch. :P

The worst things are the little tsumtsum type floppy pokemon. They are all so adorable and I keep wanting to buy more of them...

I have seen a ton of merchandise for both of those, so you would probably be doomed xD.
I don't even like Pikachu that much, but the Maiko Pikachu is somehow so cute that I had to have her. Sigh.
Lillie is holding a Fuji Senbei. I'm in Kyoto now, but I spent a week in Tokyo and did a trip out to Fuji. I bought some of the senbei or rice crackers from there and I still have a few left. It was just the right size for her to hold, and with it in package, her hands (leaves?) didn't get dirty xD. It was just the right size for her!
They're this kind of thing:

It only looks like restraint because most of my favourite pokemon don't get plushed. I am principally a grass pokemon lover, and most of them don't get attention like some of the others. But I'm also lately obsessed with white Vulpix. In fact, I went to three pokemon centers searching for the Alolan Vulpix and Hiroshima was the only one that had her.
There is actually a fourth Pokemon Center store I can get to from here, which is in Osaka, but I don't think my wallet can cope.
Those are adorable. Don't feel bad Taffeta, your just following the natural course of a Pokemon trainer. ;)

Haha ! Too true. Gotta buy them all..?
Oh boy yeah are Pokemon Centers dangerous. When I found out about their existence I vowed to visit Japan and make a Pokemon Center my first stop. However, if they don't have Rattata merch then I will be very disappointed. Rattata is my favourite Pokemon and he doesn't get enough recognition!

At least the US has such a thing. UK doesn't :(

We do?
Ahhh the stuffels are super cute! dunno on spelling of it's name on the fly... The main reason I want to visit Japan is Disney Tokyo, Food, and a pokemon center. Otherwise UK is still top of my to travel list. Sadly both are expensive to visit.
The UK is a ton cheaper for someone from the US to visit at present, thanks to Brexit taking 40 cents off the value of each pound. Sigh. But that's another matter.
Every time I go to that store there's something different. Today it was Ditto-ed pokemon en masse ( basically a whole lot of pokemon merch of different characters but with a goofy Ditto face).

Depending on what you want to see UK is cheaper, but overall Japan is cheaper in my budget with the things I want to visit. Vs UK which there are many more things I want to see. Majority of my family history is all over UK so I'd probably want to check out a few cemeteries/libraries etc for research. Where in Japan I have less of a tie to so less things on the bucket list. Though I think I'd gain like 15 lbs going to Japan just from their food haha.
