Title: Hello again!

I have been on an involuntary hiatus due to an episode of Multiple Sclerosis which had caused lingering health problems. Some of you might have read my last post here on the Arena about having to go to hospital, because I was losing my eyesight. I ended up going completely blind within less than three days. The inflammation which had caused the blindness proved to be resistant to common treatments, and I fought a desperate battle to regain my eyesight over the course of several months. Thankfully, most of my eyesight has returned. I'm still recovering, but I'm going to be more active again on the Arena from now on. To be honest, taking up pony collecting again and spending some time on the Arena during the past few days has cheered me up ... I am glad to be back! :blush:

I have taken a look at my private messages inbox and noticed that I still have to leave two feedback comments for successful trades from immediately before the episode as well as a reply to a swap complaint I had issued against my swap partner, but otherwise I seem to be fine. DONE. :)

It's good to hear you are recovering! I also have Multiple Sclerosis. Three and a half years ago I suddenly went numb from the neck down within a week. I also had to struggle for months to learn to walk again, tie my shoes, hold a pencil etc. so I can relate to what you are going through. Wish you as much of a full recovery as possible!

It's great the Pony Arena has cheered you up over the years. We are a nice, tight knit community so you can always come here for support :lovey:

@The_Loner It's the scariest most treacherous thing in the world, isn't it? Suddenly your entire life is turned upsite down and everything you have taken for granted and have never worried about is taken from you. I am so, so sorry, this has happened to you as well, and I am hoping you have had a good recovery, too! Many, many hugs!
