Title: Mr. Universe photo contest.
Post by: Crowning_Glory13 on February 16, 2017, 11:13:22 AM: I just finished Miss Flutter Pony Universe and I feel we need one for the boys. This is a photo contest. Each week you will have a theme for the photo. You have to use the same pony you entered with. We will have arena voting, along with a random dice roll. Depending on the number of participants we will dropped 2 to 3 each round. You will be awarded a prize for entering, and the prize gets bigger the longer you stay in. Prizes are random, and some can be seen in my trades.

Rules.
1. You get only one boy pony to enter with.
2. A boy pony can be from any generation, it can be a custom, or any pony you feel is a boy. So if you feel bride pony is a boy, then bride pony is a boy. You can have baby boys as well.
3. No negative comments as this is for fun.
4. I will be using your pictures for this contest only.
5. If you miss a deadline with out communicating with me, you are disqualified and will not receive prizes.
6. If you need an extension communicate with me. We can make adjustments if things come up.
7. There can be multiple boys...so we can have 5 Tex if they are entered.

To enter
Post a picture of your boy. This is a head shot. You may have a scene or extras, but it is all about your boypony. You may make small descriptions for your photo. There can be no other pony in the picture. Show off that handsome boy.

Photos are due by March 2. Voting will start March 3.

I know this is way early, but I wanted to give everyone a chance to prep. Depending on how many participate, this could be a long contest. If you keep up with communication, we can always work something out:)

Please ask questions. I can not wait to see the pictures.

Meet Sunburst! He is a total zen-a-holic and greatly enjoys spending time outside, meditating, and granola. He is a park ranger and feels very passionate about preserving nature and protecting wildlife. His most recent project has been teaching the local fillies and colts about the importance of bees and starting a community garden. Sunburst has no trouble at all making friends and connections and can be an unintentional flirt at times, but he is well meaning and hopes to find his "ying to his yang"

Think of the more like Miss Universe Pageant...the boy ponies like the pageant women are models. The themes are going to more model like. Seasonal photo, or best friends, or maybe swimsuit hahaha. It should be about liking a picture:)

I will be taking my photos tomorrow. I just wish I could enter two boys - I'm having such a dilemma deciding who of the two to enter....
About those possible themes - what if the best friend is a toy from a different toyline?
I think if I knew what the different themes are going to be it could help me decide, but I don't know if they are supposed to be a secret until they are on?

I have given extentions just in case:) I just need communication:) each theme has their own rules, but open to a lot of interpretation. For miss Flutter Pony Universe the friends and family theme was open to any pony or item that was considered friend or family. Not sure if that will be a theme. I have some different ones that I have not used yet.

So as soon as the poll goes up for head shots, I will announce the next theme.

Tux 'n' Tails adds his quiet strength and dignity to the royal family as the husband of the lovely Princess Dawn. He does not just stand around and look handsome, though, since he is willing to do whatever is necessary to help other ponies (royal or not), and he loves playing with daughter Baby Sweetsteps and her friends.

Baby Leaper had spent an entire afternoon in the public library of Ponypolis. He had been reading a book of fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm. As he was returning the book to its shelf he noticed a huge frog with a golden crown leaping slowly towards the detective stories section. Excitedly, Baby Leaper galloped over. "Will you turn into a prince when I give you a kiss?" he asked. The frog looked at Baby Leaper in mild surprise, scratched its head and answered: "I have no idea!" "Would you mind if I tried?" asked Baby Leaper hopefully. "Not at all!" the frog replied ...

He owns a party planning business with the love of his life, Birthday. :) The two have been dating for several years and there are rumors circling around town that someone's been ring shopping. Are there wedding bells in his future? Only time will tell.

Sunburst is a personal trainer who spends his weekends working with underprivileged foals and fillies. He promised them he would enter the Mr. Universe contest if they all earned B's or better on their report cards. He is a stallion of his word and looks forward to some friendly competition with all the other contestants!

Tracks showed up way late to his shoot, so I had to rush him through with minimal styling. Messy hair, just woken up... This model will prove to be a handful, I'm sure. But what can I say, he *is* a handsome fellow. He has promised, though, to keep better track of our shoots if he makes it through the first elimination!

Thanks! I made him just after the episode came out because I thought his design would be perfect on a G1 body. This one hasn't been part of any swaps, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone else made him as a G1, too.

I hope it's okay that I changed ponies! I was really feeling Chief, but then I remembered that I gave this Barnacle a great set of curls, and I fell in love with him all over again!
