This is the full size 6" Funko Big Mac posed with the gigantic brass unicorn I just bought at Goodwill for $40!!
It weighs 21.1 pounds, or just under ten kilos for those of you on the other side of the Wall, which brings the cost to just about scrap rate. I asked what is the price on the unicorn in the window and they said maybe $25 so i said I'll take it! and she looked and said, oh it's $89. I said, Can I get it for $40 pretty please with sugar on top? and she said she'd check....called someone on the fone and said $39.99 and I got it out of the store for no tax. Yay! never know what you're going to find at Goodwill...I had the head sticking out of my backpack on the train at rush hour, had to try pretty hard to keep it from stabbing anyone...you can definitely put your eye out with this thing!
Aside from the impossible pose, I love it! Posed here with Big Mac so it's eligible for an MLP brag post, I mean for "scale".

While I'm posting, check out my new Twilight with the soft wings. She came with crinkled wings and I used a wet paper towel and the flatiron to get them back into shape. Looks nice right?

Wow! That is incredible that they let you take it for that price! It's gorgeous!
Interesting Twilight figure too. I wasn't aware they'd made a figure with soft wings. That's awesome that you fixed them!

That unicorn is amazing! I've never seen anything like that. My mum used to have brass horses and horseshoes but they weren't that big. Fantastic find!

Thanks everypony! I'm very glad they let me have it for that price because I offered every last dollar I could pay. Also because I don't think I could have run fast enough while carrying that chunk of brass to steal it, haha.
Big Mac just happened to be my pocket pony this week in my lighter jacket...I took my pics in the ten minutes waiting for the train. Big Mac looks so small in the pics, haha. For those who like urban trivia, that orange brick is throughout the downtown Oakland 12th street BART station.
If I had gone out later and had my thicker coat on, my pocket pony would have been Gingerbread instead...

Goodwill usually cares more about moving the more expensive items than getting a lot for them. My friend almost got a Wii for 40 there, I think, at least 20 less than it was listed as.

$89 at a goodwill? Yikes! Good finds though, I'm glad you were able to talk them down.

haha invaderhorizongreen yes Big Mac is a nice find, I only finally bought him some weeks ago but he's such a pale orange....I found him again for $17 on eBay and teh seller promised me he would be red, not just red but RED but he was orange again but at $17 he's still a nice find. Eventually I will make one of them into Princess Big Mac.
Yes Khoufu except for liquidation items from retail stores, Goodwill does not have any cost so they can make any deal they like and it's pure profit. If something sits on the shelf half the time, they can sell for half the price because there is always something sitting in the back that needs to move. When the get liquidation new stock, it has a different price tag so they know it had cost and they can't haggle, for example I got my second Star Lily at Goodwill in a beatup box for $35 which was waay cheaper than the one I bought new for $100. The Goodwills I go to often have no toys but I check in anyway because I seem to find odd things like the rare new Starlily and this chunk of unicorn there.
Bekuno I did a quick internet rate lookup and found $1.68 per pound so the brass alone is worth $35 ouch! and metals are down...I've gotten over $2.50 per pound on brass in 2010. Plus I paid less than half Mimic for it....it's hard not to see a Quarter-Pounder at McDonalds as how many ponies I could buy instead even though it's food. There was a comedian I remember as a kid who was talking about how everything compared to ice cream cones and how some of the adult real-world expenses are quite a lot of ice cream cones...so just think about how many ice cream cones italian Bowtie costs....eeks never eat dessert again.
