Hi :)
I'm super excited to meet everyone, but also a bit nervous
I've never posted on any kind of forum so hopefully I do this right. A little about why I'm here...
First of all, I'm an 80s baby, and so many of my happy childhood memories are attached to My Little Pony. I come from a ranching family and my Dad worked as a cowboy when I was young, so I've always been surrounded by real life horses. I dearly loved horses as a child and as I've grown up they've always been a part of my life. Today, I have two horses of my own that bring so much joy to my life. But the first horses I ever loved were: Butterscotch, Cotton Candy, Applejack, Peachy and Sundance!
Unfortunately, I was separated from my first pony herd at 10 years old. I lost all my toys in an accident and I've thought about them many times over the years. I never shared with anyone that I missed them or considered replacing my ponies as an adult. I was scared of what people would think
That all changed last week. I shyly told my husband I was thinking about starting to collect g-1 my little ponies and the memories I had of them as a child. He said, "that makes sense". I was like...wait...what!? :
And then it began, I opened my first box of G-1 ponies yesterday!! It was like the pure joy and happiness of my childhood had arrived in a cardboard box!
They aren't all perfect but they're home and I'm looking forward to showing them some tlc after I learn a little more. Thanks for letting me share. I look forward to learning here and growing my "herd"
I hope that wasn't too long!

Diamond,
My real life ponies are a 25 year old quarter horse mare, she's the horse I'm riding in my profile pic. A very big 7 year old paint horse gelding who is an absolute baby, he was born with us and knows he's special :enthralled:
And my hubbys horse is a 7 year old quarter horse gelding that just "thinks" he belongs to me ;) Thanks for asking
Do you have any irl ponies?
