Title: PC: MOC Nurse ponies
Post by: Vettefromm on January 24, 2017, 08:37:55 AM
Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can help me with a price range for these MOC nurses? They have been prized pieces in my collection for a long time but I am considering parting with them (and will for the right price).

Wow- MOC Nurse ponies- they are rare enough just with their hats!

No idea as to price though, and it may be difficult to determine if there haven't been any sold recently.

Prized pieces for a reason! I happen to know a nurse who is smitten with these ponies, so I'm going to pour myself a cup of tea and camp in this thread to see where it's going.

Aaaaaah, those are some of my grails! If I were rich I would fling a ton of money at you right about now.

Considering common ponies in that condition usually go for more than $100, I honestly have no idea how much rare ponies like those would go for. A lot -- that's all I can really say. Sorry I'm not helpful!

Ponies in just the box are pretty pricey, about 100 bucks. A rare pony like one of these? No idea. Most don't sell these, so research and resources are limited.

I would say $250 - 300 each.  Best of luck to you!

That's about what I was thinking but I didn't want to say it in case I was way off.

I had no idea these even exist. Good luck on your sell! Those are lovely.

I would agree with Stormy. They are very hard to find MOC because of their poor distribution when new. In my opinion the ponies themselves as loose items often sell at a lower price than their actual rarity indicates, but I can't see that happening with them on card.

On a separate note, I think I may need images of those - or one of them - on the Scrapbook page. When I eventually get around to editing my site again, could I maybe use your images (with credit)?

Good luck with your selling them :) If I had money I would make an offer, but right now I have minus money for ponies.

Thanks everyone for your help :) I am hoping to avoid selling, but it's nice to know what to expect if it becomes necessary.

Taffeta, feel free to use all the pictures. They are in storage but if I get them out to sell, I can also get you backcard pictures ;)

I wish I had the spare $600 to make a proper offer on the three. They are so so so lovely!

Hiya :) I appreciate it, thank you :) Don't worry too much about the back pictures. I have a single Nurse pony card somewhere in the house from my sister's childhood, so I should...eventually..be able to do those myself if I need them. I don't want you to go to more work than you need :)

I also hope you are able to keep your nurses together. They are a nice set :)
