Title: How to keep some blindbag toys standing upright?
Post by: lordalexander74 on January 21, 2017, 04:17:57 PM
Anyone got any other ideas on how to keep certain G4 toys from falling over? Small stacks of coins works for most cases, but the Flim Flam brothers and Mayor Mare from the Nightmare Night sets are the worst offenders. I had to lean them against a building/wall or they'd be eating grass.

Does any of them have a hole on the bottom of their feet? If so you could see if you can make a stand for them :)

That's a good idea. All blind bags have a hole in one hoof!

I was going to suggest sticky-tack/museum putty/quake hold (or whatever it's called in your neck of the woods, lol!). Luna & the Bros will stand if they're on a very even surface but I think Mayor Mare's a lost cause!

Museum putty has always worked for me. I use it for Flim Flam brothers and the mayor. If you're near a dollar tree they sell a large pack of it for a dollar :)

Thanks for the putty suggestion, I'll check out my local dollar tree next time I'm in town. Will that putty harm or stain the toys in the long run?

It shouldn't stain as long as it's not colored

I've even used blue putty with no staining on my white shelf or on the ponies. And I never buy expensive stuff but if you're worried just opt for the white putty!
