Title: Hello, and suchlike.
Post by: Seanan on January 05, 2017, 09:03:06 AM
Hiya!

My name is Seanan; I collect G1 Ponies pretty much exclusively (with a very small smattering of non-G1 that I've received as gifts), and have far too many of them.  I started collecting when I was four, and my grandmother bought me Minty and Cotton Candy.  When I was eighteen, my mother lost our family storage unit for failure to pay.  I've been trying to rebuild the collection I had ever since.  This means I sometimes get confused about whether I have a Pony, at least until I find them on the shelf or on my big spreadsheet.

I live in the Pacific Northwest with my massive cats and my doll collection, and when not hunting for Ponies, I write books, watch too much television, and travel.

It's nice to "meet" you all!

Welcome to the Arena! There is no such thing as too many ponies :) Cotton Candy was my first pony as well!

I hope you have a great time on the boards.

hello, and welcome!! That's sad that your childhood herd was lost, but at least its fun to try to rebuild your old collection! It's so sweet that your grandmother bought you your first ponies  :satisfied:

Welcome to the Arena :lovey:

I agree that you can never have too many ponies!  It's sad to lose your childhood collection but you do have your memories about certain ponies and you can relive the joy in an adult emotion by rediscovering your herd members :)

Welcome to the Arena, Seanan!

I'm sorry you lost your ponies, but you seem well on your way to getting them all back. Have fun collecting and enjoy the forums!
