Working on dilgently selling my collection pieces. They've been in storage for going on 10 years now and I just decided it was time to pass them along. Prices are not what they used to be, so I'm not sure what to ask for this piece.
It's in excellent condition, I hate to say mint simply because it IS opened. The hinges are not broken or cracked. It comes with ALL of the accessories that were original to the set. It also has a box that's in excellent condition and the instructions. I'll add some pictures in the morning once it's not dark outside.
What's the ballpark I should ask for this item?
Thanks,
Shanna

My best guess on the price would be $300ish. There was one that sold recently without the box and a few accessories for $250.

At $300, I'd be interested in buying it ;) I'm missing a couple things like the instructions and ribbons.
But I think you would get more by taking offers. It doesn't pop up often and *rarely* complete. Missing a few key pieces like goblets will drop the price down to the $200-300 range. Add in those pieces, and I've seen it go for $450-600.

Oh, this would cause me to happily break my budget. Please, please let me know when you decide to put this up!

I would say between $600 and $700 or more. I would do offers here or eBay. Best of luck with your sale!

Whew. Okay, I managed to open her up and get some pictures ~

I haven't cleaned it since I bought it, so it will need a light cleaning. The only issue I see (other than the yellowed glue) is the felt banner has a tear in it. I'm not sure how that would affect the value.
Thanks to everyone that has replied!

I agree with the $600-700+ range. Best of luck on your sale!!

Amazing!!

Wow!! Just looked at the pictures. I wish I was in a place where I could make a competitive offer  With eBay, you will get a lot more traffic, but then pay more in fees. Good luck with sales.

yeah good luck! ;)

It's gorgeous. I would say you can safely ask a low price of $550 (say as an eBay starting bid) and the prices suggested above are definitely in the range of what to expect / ask.
