Hey everyone!
Went to the entertainer and saw the reboot purse ponies! I saw rarity, applejack, and princess twilight sparkle. They are £9 in the entertainer, so quite pricey, which is why I only bought rarity. I'll post pics in a bit

Edit: from all the stock pictures I wasn't too sure on them, but in real life they're really cute. They remind me of g3.5s.

The hair on my rarity seems to be the cheaper kind, but It looks pretty on display. Her head does turn :)

Oooh! I need to look out for these - our local Entertainer looked a wreck when I went there a few days ago (panic buyers for Christmas leaving the shelves a mess!)

Yeah her mouth needs to be painted. If they aren't going to bother painting it in they shouldn't even bother with open mouths.

How do they compare size-wise to the originals?

Hrm, I wonder if our Entertainer had those. I wouldn't have noticed them, buried beneath the layers of other stock and children browsing...
Still not keen on them but curious to see them in real life.

Yay, I think. I just can't get excited about them. But I couldn't get excited about regular G4 until I saw them in the wild and had to get them :D

Oooh, ours had hardly anything as of last week - just a few pearly Fluttershys, I think. I'll have to have a nosy. Boxing Day sales, maybe!?

How do they compare size-wise to the originals?
They are the same height as regular g4, heir heads are much larger, legs are thinner, and her horn is taller than original.
Also i forgot to say that they had the blind bag size boutique playset with rarity, can't remember the price, I think it was £20+ however, but I'm not totally sure.

I don't mind the mouth not being painted . . . I can't think of any other gen where open mouths were painted? (G1 Skydancer, lots of G2s, G3 Waterfire, etc).
I think she's cute, but what really makes me happy is her HORN. Like, the fact that she has a proper one instead of a teensy little nub. It only took 6 years, lol!

at least they added Rarity's bottom eyelashes, tho they are still missing a few. -_-

I think it's kind of funny that people are complaining about the unpainted mouths XD
Granted yes they should be able to since the GoH Pinkie and Cheese Sandwich both have painted mouths, yet GoH Twilight has unpainted teeth XD That's event worse than the tongues note being painted XD
I'm wondering why the US hasn't seen these rebooted ponies yet :/

The purses are at our Entertainer too now, at least I assume they went out for Boxing Day but they are there anyway. They had Rarity, Twilight and one other but I forget who it was. Also saw some other things which I think are reboot - there was a reboot fluttershy with her mouth open and a carriage of some kind in yellow. Then there were (at least) two which were something like fashion on the run? Rainbow Dash had a plastic rainbow skirt and I think the other was another Fluttershy.
Royal Ribbon fashion style was also there. I only saw her in TRU in London before.
Pearlies have almost entirely sold out. Entertainer here now only has an army of about eight Starlight Glimmers, lol, nobody else! Before Christmas they had very full shelves of these but they are still on discount price so I imagine they've been really popular with the kiddies.
There was some other stuff too but I'm not sure whether it was new.

Was in Entertainer today (Berkshire) and saw the purse ones - so bought Rarity at £9.99 :newpony:
...and another wee pearly Coloratura at £3.75 (may possibly customise/enhance her with a partial white hair + tinsel reroot, not decided yet!) there was a whole end-display full of them - 30 maybe !
Also a Rainbow Dash POP pony kit for £4 to go with the others my little girl got for Christmas, she loves swapping their manes, tails and wings around! :lol:

She's cute- I've kinda liked the looks of these coming out
so are these going to end up being generation 4.5 ? Or 5? Still MLP FIM characters but the look is entirely different.
