Title: who is your favorite winter/holiday pony?

maybe someone other than minty? I think stockings is my favorite. i absolutely need her!

i think my g3 favorites are sno-glo and candy cane.
who are your favorites? why is there no Hanukkah pony?
or other winter-time holiday ponies? they should make one if they're gonna have a santa pony ; )

My favorites are definitely Merry Treat and Baby Stocking! :D

This is a tough one for me. I absolutely love the winter G3s. My top 3 would be: Chilly Breezes, Jolly Lolly, & Snowflake

Then Sno-Glo would be 4th and December Poinsettia would be 5th.

Winter Minty 2008. Gorgeous colors, symbols covering her body and a snowflake on her eye. I love her. I got her back when she was in stores.

Snow'el! and TAF Winter Minty, but I don't have a picture of her as I don't own her anymore.

Snow'el on the other hand I have both loose and MIB ^^

Oh, I absolute adore Snow'el II (the white pegasus version) - her overall design is gorgeous and her halo accessory is just too precious! :D

CP Stockings, for sure.  I was able to  add her to my herd, thanks to someone here at the arena, and am very excited to receive her soon :).

As a whole, I'd say the G3 Winter ponies, but I think Marshmallow Coco has to be my favorite of them.

I don't think any other pony has a body color quite like her.  The winter ponies in general are just gorgeous though. :drool:

Velvet Bow is a new pony to me. We never had any of the winter ponies/holiday ponies for G3 in the UK and I gave up trying to collect them. She is super nice, though, her colour scheme is gorgeous.

I also had to stop and go, why would it be Minty? before I realised that referred to the G3 Minty and the Christmas special thingy not the G1 Minty...

My answer is different now than what it was for most of my childhood, when it was Powder. Now it's Snowflake. I love them both, but gained a new appreciation for Snowflake as she was one of my childhood ponies and I didn't realise as a child what I know as an adult about her unique characteristics (glittery symbol, freckles) compared with the others in her set.

I also remember - and still have, but it's at home, not here - the Christmas selection pack pony story book. The UK comic didn't have a set Christmas pony until Merry Treats came out - the only Christmas pony ever to come out in the UK in G1! - so ponies took it in turns to be "pony Christmas", delivering the presents. I think that the selection box story has Snowflake in this role. I have some of the ponies from the box as cut outs still, too. Snowflake is one and Baby Tiddly Winks is another. It might be only those two that I still have after so many years.

I also remember the comic making Masquerade it once (another childhood pony of mine) because she liked to dress up in costume, and also, later, Flurry...ponies with seasonal themes from earlier years often came back regularly...

But for me it's Snowflake. And as is appropriate, here's my childhood pony to seal it :) She was my fourth pony and I got her in 1986, so she's 30 this year ;)

Edit: I found a couple of pictures of the Selection Box story book in my files...not sure of the year but guessing 86. Kind of amazed I still have this considering I lost so much stuff from the early years of collecting.

As I thought, Snowflake is indeed Pony Christmas :)

And I had forgotten about Ice Crystal as a winter themed pony until I saw him on the cover of one of the winter comics xd.
