Title: Kurt Adler Applejack "Fixed"
Post by: aintnobuffalo on December 01, 2016, 08:32:52 PM: I like the Kurt Adler's Christmasy themes, but poor Applejack had tiny, wall eyed, and to far apart eyes. So I managed to get around fixing her! I removed the original eyes with nail polish remover, repaired the missing orange paint, and then gave her back her eyes that I know and love. She is my sister's, so I'm excited to give Applejack back to her.

Still working on getting G4 eyelashes just right.

I saw some other G4 ornaments at hobby lobby and the paint quality was horrible. its like they didn't even try. -_-

I came across Rainbow Dash and Pinky ornaments at Target and their sculpt finishing was just so bad I really just couldn't buy them.

Post by: lostpony on December 06, 2016, 04:13:02 PM: it's amazing how much of a difference the eye repaint makes...it's so subtle but the original looks kinda skittish and the new eyes have that it's-all-under-control Applejack calm
