So what's your favorite (or least favorite) G1 pose?
I honestly don't know many of the poses (I just got into G1) so if you all could post some pics with the name of the pose that would help me out a lot ^^;
I think my favorite is the collectors pose, its so cute!! :happy:

My all-time fave is the collector pose. Probably because my first ponies were the original G1 6 release back in the early '80's.
I do love the Shy pose too.

The Dancing Butterflies pose, Crumpet pose, and Baby Glory pose come to mind :heart:

All of these poses are great!! I would have to say that my least favorite pose is the sitting pose. It looks nice when it's sitting on a collectors shelf, but to me hasbro didn't look at it very logically. How is a kid supposed to play with a pony that sits constantly? Again, it's a beautiful pose, just doesn't seem very functional when it comes to kids.
What are your thoughts?

i used to hate it and then i got a seashell in a lot and now i love it! its so unique and cute. i think its cool how much diversity there is in poses in g1s.

I love the baby Blossom pose. So classic :cool: Though it's pretty hard to go past the Crumpet pose for adults.

Posey, Bow Tie, Surprise, and Dancing Butterflies poses off the top of my head. I love shy-ish pony poses the most it seems xD

Shy pose, Quackers and Baby Glory. I love how much life g1 ponies seem to have. The way they vary in stance makes it seem like they have their own adventures when I'm not looking. :lol:

I simply love unicorns. With exceptions, I usually zone in on unicorn G1s for my collection. And the Mimic pose is my favorite. I seem to be in the minority with that opnion, but it's so majestic!

I like most of the poses, but my favorite is probably Posey's. I like the confident look of the the head. My least favorite is Moondancer's pose. The body seems distorted.

The Collector's Pose is my favorite. But I like most of them, and there aren't any that I really dislike.

Bubbles pose is one of my favorites. You could also apply that logic to ponies that just stand there really. :P

Wing Song-Wing Song, Tropical Breeze
2 in movement:
Honeysuckle -Honeysuckle, Peach Blossom, Forget Me Not
Cloud Puff-Cloud Puff, Pink Dreams, Wind Drifter

Surprise's peg pose and all the other shy poses. As for baby poses I just love them all.

For earth ponies, it's Posey, Majesty for unicorns and Heart Throb's pose for pegasi. I also have a major soft spot for Moondancer's pose as well, although it looks kind of goofy I think it also makes her look really cuddly! :heart:

I only have a few unicorn g1s, and they are all in the Moondancer pose. I guess it's my fav unicorn pose cause it's the only one that I personally have.

I have flutter ponies with the las 2 poses. Thanks for the help everyone!!

I guess I'm the odd pony out, because I don't like the Dancing Butterflies and shy poses that much. Actually I really like the Dancing Butterflies pony itself, but the pose has kept me from buying it so far.
Some of my favorite poses are-
Pegasus- Firefly and Whizzer
Unicorn- Glory, Gusty
Earth- TAF Scoops

I do also love Moondancer's and Powder's. If only they had used them more.... :sad:
For Pegasus, it's a three-way tie between Whizzer's, Firefly's, and Surprise's. :P
And for Baby ponies, I'd say Baby Fifi's. :)

Favorite Adult is Shy Pose, Bowtie (second is Lickety Split pose)
Favorite Baby is Baby Cotton candy Pose
But Baby Ember pose or baby glory pose come in close behind.

I love the trotting earth pony pose! It's just so pretty! I'm also fond of the shy unicorn pose that gusty is in!

If I had to choose just one... Argh! Can't. Surprise, Gusty and whichever Daddy Sweet Celebrations is in :) I also love Shady for boys and girls! And the baby unicorns and pegs. And the Strawberry Fair pose and sitting pose. Aaand all the wingers. And the Galaxy and Whizzer poses. I'm so rubbish at this game!
