Is anyone else as obsessed with Playmobil as I am? When I was a kid I collected Playmobil figures and playsets, and I've noticed a huge resurgence in Playmobil stuff lately, so I've been buying playsets and stuff here and there. But recently I found out that there are BLIND BAG PLAYMOBIL FIGURES! OMG, gotta have 'em all! There are also some super collectible rare figures that I want, like the ever so popular Martin Luther figure (weird, right?).
Talk to me about Playmobil!

I looooooooved absolutely LOVED Playmobils as a kid. Way more than Legos haha, which was my brothers' favorite. I loved the feel of the plastic and the little rubbery parts, very stim-tastic. I see them in stores a lot and it takes a lot for me not to buy them up. I had a family set of unicorns as a kid that I think we're my favorite.

I loved them when I was a child! Especially the farm with the animals, and the cowboys. Happy memories! Everything is still in my parents' attic...

Omg yes!! I was obsessed with them! My sister and I had so many (hospital, Victorian style house, safari lodge...). So many great memories. I always remembered I was sad because I wanted the airport as a kid but I never got it lol. I might have to buy it one day.

I don't collect, but I've always loved the fact that they had the Coliseum. :)

OMG, that is so cool! I've never seen that one before! I love how there seems to be a Playmobil figure or playset for EVERYTHING. There's just so much variety for anything you could possibly want to imagine!
One of the playsets I had as a kid was a playground, which came with a sandbox. Instead of putting actual sand in it (which would have been really messy) we put uncooked rice in it (which was only slightly messy). So my Playmobil kids had an actual sandbox to play in, which I always thought was really cool. I think that playground was my favorite playset as a kid.

As a kid I made a point of collecting Playmobil horses. We had so many cute ones :) Black, brown, a dapple gray, babies . . . Our Belleville lego people would ride on them.

I don't have any, but think they're adorable! We don't get many sets here, but when I was in France they had so many, and it's really piqued my interest in them!

Ohhhhh I love to look at it and tell myself that I am NEVER EVER getting into buying any of it! Oh my no... addictive little things!

Yes! I had (still have packed away) the Victorian house with 4 stories, furniture, car, fence, people, etc. Its a beautiful playset! I actually considered selling the whole set but my mom didn't want me to so she is keeping it for now.

I like Playmobil a lot! I had quite a few sets a kid, but the only thing I let myself keep was my favourite, the 3515 lion pride!
I also bought this adorable micro set for one of my dolls, unfortunately it's stayed packed up in my doll box ever since!

I love Playmobil! I have a three year old, so got some bits for him, then ended up getting a bunch of things I had as a child as well! Mostly playground stuff, which he has co-opted into his :)
If I had the space, I would love to get the Victorian mansion - a friend of mine had that as a child and I loved it! Sets seem quite expensive now though :(

Ooh, I remember going to a store with my mom and little sister when I was little -- a train or hobby store, I think -- and it had a play area with Playmobil people and that Victorian mansion was there. My sister and I played so long with that awesome house! I still remember it. I think my mom shopped longer than normal so we'd have more time :)

I'm so excited -- Funko and Playmobil have partnered up and they'll be releasing Playmobil figures of popular characters, like Back to the Future and Ghostbusters! I'm gonna be all over those when they come out!

I've only got my old 1970s childhood figures and a cow, I have Robin Hood, and have a nurse with a little wheelchair and a potty! Never could face giving them away. But was always jealous of my older cousin who had the stagecoach, and best of all the knights with a long table to sit at, and mini wine goblets. The knights had little domed silver helmets.

I have some of the knights, but I never got the table and the wine goblets! How cool. :)

I like it too and have a small collection. A castle, some figure sets and some animal sets. I have always thought they are so much nicer than lego.
