A student that I've regularly tutored for over a year now, came into the computer lab I work in and said to me "When they put my life on the big screen, you'll be in there somewhere."
This tickled me. He went on to say that he has two semesters left at the college before graduating and that I've helped him get through classes he didn't think he'd pass. Lately I've been feeling like looking for another job, but him saying that made me realize that I'm good where I am. All I've ever wanted to do is make a positive impact on someone's life.

...and congrats to Koudoawaia, because it was finding out that my Thanksgiving is cancelled that ruined my mood that day. *sigh*
Why are people so greedy? Why can I not have that one day to eat myself into a coma and loll around on the couch? It's a vital American tradition, dang it! :pout:

A bit selfish but I've been looking for a new job for month and a job that I thought wouldn't hire me (because they told me they'd call me and didn't for like, three weeks) called and they want me in for work on Wednesday!!! Yes!!
.....Maybe I should buy a pony to celebrate.

Three of my favourite bands all have albums out in early 2017 - super stoked! I'll have to get to work with my guitar so I'll be good enough to jam to them when they're relased! :D

Well... this isn't so much news as just something making me happy. It's taken me literally years to get to this point, but yesterday I cleaned the VERY LAST of the boxes of ponies in my pony room! Some of them were reeeally dirty. It's been a long time coming! finally ready to group like-ponies together and get selling! I'm already picturing a much less crowded, and organised pony room.

That my husband LOVES Hillary Duff! I caught the rascal listening to Coming Clean and of course he was embarassed as heck....but I screamed "OMFG I LOOOOVE HILLARY DUFF!!!" So we got her Metamorphosis CD and have been listenimg to it NONSTOP in fact on my way to the grocery store right now we are listening to it! So yeah after 8 years I am still learning stuff about my best friend who I married but this bit makes me extremely happy. Its not like legit news but its news to me!
ALSO today I saw on the news TRU and Target are doing another Pokemon event with freebies so thats exciting too!

The best news I've gotten recently came from me. I made myself a weighted blanket (on accident haha) and for the first time in a bajillion years I can get a full night's sleep! zzzzzzz :zzz:

James Marsters is going to Denver Comic Con this year! that is literally it. only other slightly good news is a pain in the rumpus co-worker may get fired.

I went to the pharmacy at work during my lunch break twice this week and both times including two days ago on a /Friday/ even though it was really busy, there was no line whatsoever at the pharmacy both times. I was praising God for that. He was really looking out for me there.
