Hello everyone! My name is Milky-Lotus.
Many thanks to the administration who let me become a member of the arena! I'm looking forward to all the wonderful discussions about ponies and seeing everyone's collections! Please excuse my English. My first language is German, so I might make some mistakes!
I've loved MLP all my life!! Everything began in the late 90s/early 00s, when my parents would visit flea markets with my sister and me. I was so in love with all the G1s, G2s and fakies, all of them! Sadly, one day, my mother decided to throw out my ponies when I was older.
I rediscovered MLP with the G4 craze around 2010. Suddenly, all my feelings for it were back. The new ponies were really different to me than the first generations, but I loved them anyway. However, after a while I realized I didn't really some parts of the new MLP G4-fandom. But I am glad that there are still so many fans of the original generations and that the franchise won many new enthusiasts! Pinkie Pie was my first pony after all these years, and many followed, and now I've collected many G1s, G3s and G4s :lovey: :hearts:
G1 will always be my favourite generation! They are just so adorable and beautiful, their nice colours and designs; and G1 ponies are kind of chubby compared to other generations, which is just so cute to me!!
Anyway, I'm looking forward to being here with you all!

G1's just have some classic nostalgia hidden away in their little plastic bodies I'm sure of it!!! I too love how the G4 revolution brought new fans to the pony world but G1 forever!!! :lovey:

You have wonderful English! Our community has a lot of focus on older generations of the series and generally strays from the issues the G4 fandom has. Enjoy the forums!

Yes, I agree! G1 ponies with outdated symbols are the best, or those who just SCREAM 80s! Hihi, they are so lovely.

Welcome!! :) I think your English is fantastic (better than some native english speakers I have known, honestly). Finding ponies at flea markets and thrift shops is always so exciting. I think it's wonderful that your parents took you hunting as a kid. :D We have fans of all generations here, but the G1 collectors have been our primary member base and we are still going strong. I hope you enjoy the forums!
