Title: Guardians of Harmony Pinkie Pie's Cannon?

So I got the GoH Pinkie Pie and her party cannon yesterday and I'm thrilled to have a party cannon at last! Pinkie herself is also qutie good, she's quite solid and substantial and very poseable.

But, I'm a little curious about the mechanism. The 'Boneless' ammo has a notch along the bottom which makes me think it should slot into the cannon and stay there until fired. But it basically just sits in there and then sorta pops out a bit when I pull back the spring on the cannon. Is this normal, or did I get a defective one?
