Ah!  I had him when I was little!  Brings back such good memories!  I only had like 3 pound puppies but I loved playing with them just as much as my MLPs.

Yes he is an original pound puppy.  Not sure about a collector's website though.  Hope someone else can help on that front.

Thanks for the info guys! I remember having some of the Pound Kitties when I was little. This guy was so darn cute I just couldn't leave him behind. Plus he was only 1. I don't think he will go anywhere for now.

Legit Pound Puppy from Tonka. :) He looks like one of the pound puppies that came from Hardees as a kids meal promotion. They are smaller than the typical newborn pups.

I have a couple of pound puppies that I found at thrift stores in the last couple of years, but I wish I knew where my huge childhood collection was! A while ago my mom asked if she could get rid of a bag of stuffed animals she found in her basement, and I am scared to death that my pound puppies and some of my popples were in there!

Gorgeous pup! We don't have Hardees over here so no cheap pups in the 80s!  I need to get a vintage Pound Puppies website up again, I used to have about 8 pages on my old collections website dedicated to them. Just have no time at present. I have mostly Hornby pups, but also have Tonka, and a Wauzi, Irwin, and an Elgreco pup as well. One of my collections I'm never downsizing! I had 3 small newborns as a child, they were expensive in this country, so didn't get a full sized pup until started noticing them in charity shops in the past 10 years! Have traded for them over the years too.
